I travel long distance to visit family often in Kenedy and I ALWAYS stay here, the other hotels in Kenedy aren’t clean, this super 8 is very nice and I really appreciate the lady that works on the weekend, she was so sweet! My 12 year old forgot his phone in the room after checkout and she saved his phone for him! I’ll be back soon :)

The stay was good. It was clean. Inside but the outside needs a little TLC. The manager was very nice and welcoming. I really like how every room has a kitchenette that really helps when you’re on a budget, we can cook a warm meal without spending a lot in a restaurant. The only one thing I did not like was that they charged me a $10 pet fee even being a service animal it’s not that bad but I feel they should not charge a fee for a service pet.

For the price of the room I cant complain…the bed was very comfy and the A/c was excellent and the fridge kept everything cold…floor was a little stickey but could have been my shoes…water for the shower was HOT…other then that I would stay again

Overall, it was good. They need to apply a little more effort to housekeeping and repairs. There were a few loose things in the room and the carpet in the hallways needed to be vacuumed a little more often. Overall, as I mentioned, not too bad. Especially when you take into consideration that their rates are very reasonable. I did not see any of the conditions mentioned in some of the other negative reviews. They have a nice breakfast bar with; cereal, waffles, juices, coffee and other things. The rooms have appliances as mentioned in the website, in case you're having a multi night stay and wish to prepare some simple meals.

Wife drove 6 hours to spend a few days with me. She checked in went up to the room it was filthy. Bed was a mess mc donalds trash every where bathroom was disgusting. She went back to the office got a new key and went up to the room. A/c didnt work. She took a shower and the water back filled up to her ankles. Fibally laid down exhausted and the t.v. didnt work. After i got off work i went down to the office manager was very combative telling me i dont kniw how to work a a/c unit. And he would give us 20 minutes to change rooms.
