The staff were very kind and helpful. See started in an ocean view room. Great view. Comfy beds. Clean room with lots is clean towels, a big plus! Room was cozy and relaxing!

It was a perfect stay, not only because of the five star ratings I just gave for cleanliness, attentiveness, affordability and location, but because of Jade, and her generosity as as the Surf Inn’s representative. Her welcome. Her goodbye, the spread she put out for breakfast for me and only one other guest. She’s a keeper. I’ve stayed at the Surf Inn often and have always enjoyed it. This stay was special because of Jade.

We had a really great stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it! First of all, the staff were absolutely amazing, super friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, which made the whole experience feel very comfortable and enjoyable. We stayed in an oceanview room, and it was incredibly spacious. The view was honestly stunning. Breakfast was fairly simple, but the grab-and-go setup was actually very convenient, especially on days when we had plans and needed something quick before heading out. Overall, everything from the service to the room and the view exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting, and we would happily stay here again!

Nice property. Very chill environment. I had the beach view room which was great to wake up to and hear the waves crashing in the middle of the night. Very friendly staff, shout outs to jade for being so kind and sweet. Definitely will be going back in the near future.

The rooms are clean & nicely kept for it being the 1st ocean front lodging in the area. The view from the private grounds are amazing & Jade is very nice & helpful. Small cons: the website says, “Our Full Hot Breakfast: COVID ALERT! WE ARE NOT ABLE TO SERVE DUE TO PANDEMIC”. This still applies, but has a nice selection of to go items and a great coffee machine that makes specialty coffees.

Surf Inn is a gorgeous motel with a setting overlooking the bluffs and the ending of the Gualala River as it meets the vast Pacific Ocean. Rooms are comfortable and parking in front is more than ample. And huge bonus is the on site laundry room available for guests. You just NVR know when this comes in so handy . Daily continental breakfast is nice and coffee is available all day either in each room with a provided Keurig Brewer or at the front office. Beverages are also available at the front office for a minimal fee . Walking distance to most eateries

The Location was nice and quiet and upkept. The Staff at the front desk "Jade" was fantastic really helpful in every inquiry that was needed she went above and beyond. Jade is one of the nicest property agents I have encountered in my travels and should be commended for it thank you.
