Love this hotel, our balcony opened right on the path by the ocean and with a trail down to the beach So close to food and shops Very close to the walking bridge Great spot and place to stay

This hotel was great!! The amenities and staff were wonderful. The room was on the ocean and we could hear the waves rolling in during the night. The room was pretty big too and had a microwave and fridge. Also coffee machine with coffee was provided. I loved this location. There was also a restaurant and pool on site. I would def reccommend this hotel and would stay here again.

This lodge is located just a few steps from the beach! Make sure you book a room with an ocean view. Slightly expensive, and I wish they would include breakfast with this price. Beds were comfy.

I loved that we got to have an ocean view! It’s a must if you’re booking here- and the ocean is a short walk out the door. It was so nice to have the slider open to listen to the waves. Surf and Sand is right on the main road, and also a paved walkway between the property and ocean (with vegetation to walk through). The paved walkway is a great way to walk as well as the pathways in the vegetation along the ocean. Fort Bragg was a great place to stop for a couple of days bc of the location, and it’s a bigger Seaside town with more stores if you need anything. This property was clean, everything came as it looked, and the price was great for it.

We stayed at the Surf and Sand Lodge on our last night up the PCH and it was a perfect ending to a great trip! Bridgette at the front desk gave us excellent recommendations on food and things to do and was incredibly generous in upgrading our room once she learned that we were on our honeymoon. You CAN NOT beat the location! We loved being able to walk straight to the beach and enjoyed our sunset right on the water. The room was very clean and comfortable and every staff interaction we had was above expectations.

The room was roomy and welcoming. I always enjoy my stays at the Surf and Sound. Other than noisy neighbors with children who eventually settled down at 11 pm, the stay was relaxing.

A delightful place to stay! It is convenient to all Fort Bragg has to offer. Easy access to beach with walking path just off your deck! Wish I could have stayed longer! I plan to return.
