The room was stylishly furnished. The outside patio was great. Great and accommodating check in. - help carry the bags up and down when we leave. Very clean. I wish we could have dinner here but we were on a night the restaurant was closed.

We loved this hotel! It was really interesting that all of the rooms were decorated after composers. Our room had a guaranteed bath, which I made sure of, and everything was tastefully furnished. Very quiet, hostess was very helpful, and having safe and secure parking included in the price was wonderful! I've never seen a garage with crystal chandeliers before! We had breakfast both on weekdays and on weekends even though we had to leave early on Saturday. We liked the bed very much and would definitely stay again. We heard a little jazz, but couldn't eat there as we were meeting up with family.

I would without a doubt return to this location in the future. We only spent one night here while in town. The location is remarkable. The beach room, which was charmingly furnished, was where we were staying. The absence of genuine curtains to blind out the morning light is the only criticism I can give this location. For this purpose, eye shades are available, but I am not a fan. This wasn't too bad for me because I am an early riser, but it did concern my husband. Just be aware of it. We did remain when they served a breakfast the following day, which was a wonderful surprise. If they offer waffles while you remain, I highly suggest purchasing them. Also, this location is fairly excellent. We felt extremely secure, and it is right next to one of the free train stops that can transport you to several locations throughout the city.

I think the hotel has a lot of potential historical building next to the music hall. To be honest, it is disclosed on the website when reviewing those two particular rooms, but it is easy to miss. Having secure parking is available, but it is a block away, which is inconvenient when it's raining. Be sure to check to ensure that the restaurant will have premium jazz provided. While we were there for staff holidays, the restaurant was closed. However, it was not stated in advance and had that been critical to our stay, we would not have been able to cancel thanks to their strict cancellation policy. Although the hotel has a lot of potential historic structure next to the music hall, I believe that upkeeps are needed and amplification of the processes are also required to ensure that guests never reach a really comfortable temperature. The mattress and bedding are in dire shape. We were unable to sleep on the mattress. It is never a good sign to wake up exhausted. Linens felt tired and of poor quality. Temp was an issue. The rooms are heated with radiators, which are imprecise heat methods. They added a wallmounted heatingcooling system. We fought the radiators all night and couldn't get the room to a very comfortable temperature. Two of the rooms lack secure restrooms. They are located down the hall. I stayed in the beach room. very comfortable! The bed was excellent, and all the small decor in the room were excellent. Continental breakfast was ample and delicious. Service was outstanding, especially appreciated by Lukas for helping me get settled in when I arrived in a dizzying state. Be sure to get detailed instructions about the parking lot before your first visit. We ate dinner listening to jazz on Friday night and it was fantastic, the steak was perfectly cooked. The omelet for the full weekend brunch was also excellent. The location is ideal for walking or because Washington Park is close to the neighborhood. This is a place I'll definitely return to!.
