I had a great stay, it was like $110 a night and it was a bargain. Location tough to beat, you can walk to the Smithsonians and most of the big monuments/memorials. Older hotel so the rooms are on the smaller side but well appointed. Only had one elevator working but I never waited more than a couple minutes. Would certainly stay again.

The hotel is a nice historic building. Lots of character. We had a corner room which was comfortable but smaller than the others. The corner room allowed us to see north and west down the street. Loved the location! During Freedom 250 Fourth of July celebration, we walked back and forth from the hotel to the festivities because it was only a few blocks from the White House and Washington Monument. Very convenient location. Nice cafe and restaurants nearby.

A refrigerator and coffee maker in the room would have been nice. Also, Fox News channel was not available in our room which seemed a bit strange. Other than that, everything was great.

Great location, old style boutique hotel. Easy walk to the museums and close to a good train route to some other attractions like the Arlington Cemetery and the Washington Nationals Baseball ground. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in town

Easy Check in and Check out. Staff was very nice and open to answering any of my questions. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. All in all, a great trip and would stay here again. Also the location was amazing

Very close to dowtown and white house. It was within the walking distance of the embassy I wanted to visit as well. Room clean and easy access and a great guy at the front desk.

Only main complaint is that our room was muggy, with and especially without the ac, and the lobby could use a renovation. Otherwise, fantastic stay, loved the location, room was super clean, and the staff was delightful.

Just returned from my 2-day stay here. Very clean. That's all I cared about. Now, it does appear a bit outdated and I would've preferred to have a coffee maker in my room, but honestly, no big deal at all. The air conditioning worked, the bed was comfortable, the shower heated up quickly, the room was spotless, and I rested assured that I picked a good place. Now, if you're working remotely from the hotel... beware that the WiFi is spotty. I struggled to log in to work for quite some time. Had to use my phone's hotspot to get the job done. Other than that, great experience :)

Excellent! The only thing was the annoying elevator, it was beeping all night long! But our room was nice, clean and organized! Great view from the window! Really nice staff!
