We love staying here! The cookies at 8:00 p.m. was just the perfect way to end a day. There are so many nice spots that's close by. Our view is breathtaking. There is a place next door where you can rent jet skis. Kayaks pontoon boats. Beach towels are included at the resort. They have snacks and ice cream in the lobby.10/10 definitely recommend

Clean room, GREAT view balcony bay side. Beds comfortable, big room, recently remodeled. Breakfast available on weekends, smelled good. Staff helpful, friendly and always available. Would stay again. Cold plunged in the bay, since weather was chilly. Loved it.

One of the best stays we had in a very long time! The property was kept very clean and each room faces the lake and comes with a balcony to enjoy the view. The sandy beach front, that is part of the hotel, is kept clean and chairs are provided for your pleasure. Grills are available as well as various games. Breakfast was served at the hotel next door which was not a big inconvenience. The staff was very friendly and helpful at both properties. Only gripe I have was that the entrance doors to the rooms on each end of the property are exposed to the main street which makes it noisy with the traffic in addition to being drafty. Some better weather stripping around the doors could potentially reduce both issues. All other rooms were enclosed within the hotel's hallway. The complementary coffee in the lobby made by Panther Coffee was nasty for my taste buds. Wish they would have given at least another option, even simple Folgers like the hotel next door had. However, overall if we ever come back to Traverse City, this will be our main place to stay at again!

We had a wonderful time! We'll definitely keep it in mind for future stays. There is definitely traffic noise because it's on a highway, but I still slept really well. The view from our balcony was beautiful. The stairs to the second floor were easy to navigate, even for me. (I have issues with my feet.) However, if you can't do steps just make sure to book their first floor rooms. The breakfast was perfect to just quickly grab a drink and bagel before heading out for the day. I loved the access to the beach. It was so peaceful. You might even spot a family of ducks! I will mention there will be midges flying around, but you're on a lake. Those little bugs are harmless and are evidence of a health lake system. They are all around every portion of the lake. It's not specific to the area of the hotel. Just go prepared to see them. It doesn't take away anything from the joy of a beach vacation. The hotel is in a convenient location as well. Easy access to all the coastal parks and about 15 min from downtown Traverse City. We can't wait to come back.
