Everything was very good. The cleanliness of the room. The customer service was great. My room was clean and comfortable. I felt very safe as a woman traveling alone.

The place is older but it was clean and had a lot of nice characteristics that you don’t get in newer places. Windows you could open and lots of parking.

The parking was very easy and secure. The air conditioning worked great. The room was impeccably clean. Great detail was put to making it to a relaxing stay.

It was like going back in time. It was built in 1959 and they kept that look. The water pressure was great, and the AC was cold. The toilet had rust stains but it was clean and worked fine. You can watch the deer in the morning and them run by at night. NO bugs of any kind. Becka and JJ were the people that worked there and were so helpful. They knew all the right places to go. I will be back, that’s for sure!

Good old fashioned motel. Clean, heat and air worked well. Pool looks clean and ready to go. JJ and Becca were kind, helpful and friendly. Walked to town. Deer grazing out back!

The hotel is older, but it is extremely well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was told the building dates back to 1956, and that made the condition even more impressive: the rooms are very clean, noticeably cleaner than many modern four-star hotels I’ve stayed in. Speaking as an engineer, the building quality really stood out to me. Even with temperatures around 2°C outside, the insulation was so good that we were able to turn the heater off at night. That says a lot about the quality of the property. The view from the room was pleasant, and if you plan to go out at night, you should expect to spend about 15 dollars round-trip for transportation. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for the money. I’ll stay here again on my next visit to Fredericksburg and can fully recommend it. Five stars.

Staff was very friendly and explained that they are short staffed and informed us of the situation. This allowed our expectations to be realistic and everything was great. We just had to go pick up freash towels in the office. This is an old school motel so..knowkknow that.
