This property is EXCEPTIONAL!! Waking distance from everything. Check-in was fantastic with a little pour of local wine, hot fresh popcorn and some dining tips. Rooms are spotlessly clean and attractive, and well maintained. Limited parking on the property but there’s a parking lot right opposite that the hotel owns. I’m definitely returning! I’d give this place 10*’s if I could!!

The Finch Motel exceeded all of our expectations! This beautifully remodeled boutique motel blends modern finishes with a fun vintage vibe. Our room was incredibly spacious, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and we loved the adorable retro-style refrigerator that added so much character. The common areas are just as inviting. The lobby has a cozy seating area where you can enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and water, and there’s even a microwave for heating up leftovers—such a thoughtful touch. What truly sets The Finch apart, though, is the outstanding customer service. You can tell they genuinely care about making every guest feel welcome and comfortable. A special shout-out to Jason, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. His hospitality made an already great experience even better. The motel also offers plenty of parking, including EV charging stations, complimentary bicycles to explore Walla Walla, and passes to the YMCA fitness center, just a short 5–6 block walk away. The location is exceptional on the main drag close to restaurants and wine tasting rooms. If you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable, inexpensive and welcoming place to stay in Walla Walla, The Finch is an easy five-star recommendation. We would absolutely stay here again!

The entire stay was wonderful, from the glass of wine on arrival and the helpful staff to the cute room and the lawn games in the courtyard! Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Fantastic place to stay in Walla Walla. Location is excellent. We stayed while visiting Whitman College with our son. It's a 2 block walk to Reid Campus Center. With a teen who doesn't love mornings, it was wonderful to be so close. Staff was excellent. Arrival beverage was a lovely treat

EV parking, super comfortable bed and pillows! That’s a win win for us. We travel a lot, their bed and pillows are one of the most comfortable we have slept on.

The staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations on restaurants and vineyards to visit. Parking is a little difficult. Can tell place used to be a motel, but renovations are well done.

We loved staying at the Finch! The staff was so welcoming and even gave us recommendations for where to go on Main Street. The hotel was walking distance from all the shops and restaurants as well. The room was very clean and organized!

We enjoyed staying at the Finch with our dog for 3 nights. It’s a great location if you want to walk to Main Street to wine taste, eat or shop. The town overall was very dog friendly. Great coffee in the hotel lobby. Staff were friendly.

Clean, stylish, and great amenities - even for our dog! Staff was friendly and helpful. A bonus was we got to charge our EV overnight. Overall this was a delightful surprise, having chosen the Finch randomly for a quick stop on a road trip. We will definitely stay here again.

The bed was so comfortable - easily the best room we stayed at on our entire trip. The checkin process was easy and the room was nice. The TV wasn’t able to log in to any apps but that was fine.
