Great decor. Rooms were very well done. Public spaces as well. Staff was routinely superb. Very customer centric. Nina on the phone for reservations, Angela at the front desk…..very accommodating. Did not try the restaurant. Rooftop coffee and happy hour was great. Fantastic views. Will be back

The Flat Iron Hotel is located in a historic building that has been lovingly restored and updated while preserving its history. The bed and bathroom are great with a very comfortable bed and shower with lots of water pressure. The only thing missing is a place to sit. There is only one chair and no table or desk. The rooftop bar has wonderful drinks as well as views. I am glad we came and would recommend it to like minded travelers.

I want to take a moment to recognize the exceptional customer service from Maggie and Angela at The Flat Iron, along with a big thank you to the manager. I was scheduled to visit this past weekend for a concert but unfortunately came down with COVID. My cancellation fell within the 48-hour window, so I understood that a refund was not guaranteed. Despite that, the team went above and beyond to help me. Maggie and Angela were incredibly kind, courteous, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. They didn’t just follow policy—they showed real compassion and took extra steps to assist me, ultimately providing a credit and refund without any hassle. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. It’s reassuring to know there are still people who go out of their way to do the right thing. Even though I wasn’t able to make the trip, this experience alone speaks volumes about the quality of the staff. I’m really looking forward to rebooking soon—the place looks amazing, and I’m sorry I missed it. Thank you again to the entire team for your kindness and professionalism

From arrival to departure, everything was wonderful here. From complimentary glass of wine at check in, to the friendly valet upon leaving we were treated like valued friends. Loved the rooftop bar. And the speakeasy in the basement was a gem. We will be back!

Very unique property. Perfect location. Very friendly & helpful staff. Room was spacious but just a shame it didn’t have a coffee maker. Great choice of bars from the rooftop bar to the speakeasy plus the restaurant bar. Restaurant was good. Would highly recommend if you’re visiting Asheville. Great hotel.

The hotel was beautiful. Very attentive staff and fun amenities. We loved the speakeasy downstairs and the restaurant off the lobby, Luminosa, was Devine! Super convenient that there’s a cafe on the rooftop for an early coffee, too.
