We stay at the Glidden House whenever we travel to Cleveland. It is within walking distance to several museums and Little Italy, with fabulous restaurants. We like the small facility, friendly staff, and fantastic buffet breakfast. Cozy bar area and artwork throughout is a nice touch. Great value as well.

The Glidden House is a beautiful and well-kept property. It is very clean, the staff are great [friendly and helpful] and the breakfast is terrific. We stay here at least once a year. The surrounding area is safe and is surrounded by the Botanical Gardens, the Art Museum and a Natural History Museum, a University and is very close to the main campus of Cleveland Clinic.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast included in the stay offered a variety of tasty choices. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The area is walking distance to the Botanical Gardens and Art Museums.

This historical building is beautifully kept. Were were visiting my student at CWRU. It would also be a great stay if you were visiting the museums of Cleveland. The staff was lovely. The rooms were clean. The building was well maintained. Breakfast was delicious.

The hotel was perfect for me as I was in Cleveland to go to the Cleveland Museum of Art and Severance Hall. The museum, a 5 minute walk from Glidden House and a 7 minute walk to Severance. Only a 2 minute walk to the Botanical Gardens. All the staff were friendly, professional and willing to help in any way. The free breakfast was a major plus and you get to sit in one of the more historic and beautiful rooms of the mansion. Case Western University surrounds the hotel, so you have other architecture and outdoor sculpture to see. My room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. If you want to spend a bit more, I would recommend staying in one of the suites, in the converted mansion, as opposed to the addition. The rooms are larger. For those wanting to see the Rock and Roll Museum, it’s a bit of a trek as the hotel is not close. Downtown is a good distance away. Being spring, everything was in bloom. The Botanical Gardens were particularly beautiful as there are many gardens. The tulips, in various colors and varieties, were the best part. When I return, I will stay at Glidden House.
