This place is recommended. I frequently stay here and really love it. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Very clean and beautiful view. It is conveniently situated between Bennington and Manchester. Also directly across the road from the chocolate barn, one of our favorite places.

What a fantastic location! Such a gift! The owners Lisa and Shelley are wonderful people who run the sweetest motel in Vermont. The rooms are cozy, clean, and warm. There was a lovely gift basket of delectable delights in our room, as was a water bottle. There are refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, and so on. Every little detail is carefully thought out. We had a wonderful stay and have a good night's sleep. We'll undoubtedly come back. Thank you Lisa and Shelley, you are some of the nicest motels in Vermont.

We have stayed here several times and will come back as often as we can. The bed is very comfortable. And the place is very clean! And the people who run it are very helpful and pleasant. And did I mention the grounds are so peaceful? We find it to be a great place and strongly recommend it.

This room is spacious, clean, with no odor, hair, fleas, or any smell. The room was quiet, so we couldn't hear anyone on either side. The back yard is also huge so you can walk your dog. The owner is very nice. Can hear traffic but only if the windows are open.

Although it's an old motel, the new owners have done a good job cleaning it. The rooms are typically dated and a bit smaller than those in hotels of the current day. The bathroom is tiny, and there is no tub and shower. Everything worked perfectly and there was plenty of hot water. The view from this place is beautiful. You are also given free snacks and bottled water. clean and practical. Fantastic owner. Only two things I would like to improve on. The towels are small and thin. The bed was too soft. We spent two nights. We'd go back.

This was what we needed, just a place to sleep over night and a shower. The shower was very very small, with little room for "normal" shower. But it did what I needed. Room small as well, but just to sleep and shower, we didn't need any more than that. It was a holiday weekend so VERY EXPENSIVE, but that was on us for the last minute travel in peak leave peeping season.

The grounds and the people running the place are nice, but I don’t think I’ve ever been on a cheaper mattress or in a smaller shower for $200 a night. Nothing wrong with the place: it should just cost about 1/3 what it does. I spend a lot of time in hotels.
