This is quite the gem! So much history and convenient to downtown. The rocking chairs on the front porch just welcome you right in! Thank you for an EXCELLENT first stay. We will be back!

It’s a great historic hotel. Brings you back to the days when times were simpler. Bathroom was updated and beds comfortable. Room was clean as well as the common areas. Breakfast was typical hotel continental and decent. Great location since it’s right in the middle of the parkway strip. Request a balcony in front of the hotel for street view if occasional noise from the street doesn’t bother you. Will definitely book here again.

Awesome hotel! I have always wanted to stay here and finally did. I walked by this hotel hundreds of times as a kid and an adult. I should have tried it out a long time ago. Perfect location, clean and a step back in time. This is our new favorite place.

Beautiful rustic hotel right in downtown Gatlinburg. Staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Good parking available. And a great breakfast included. We had a very comfortable room with a balcony and two rocking chairs. The bed was nice and comfortable and the shower had good pressure and lots of heat.

Very nice. Spacious rooms and quiet. The staff was very friendly. Lots of hotel areas to relax. Loved the rocking chairs on the entrance porch and balconies…something that is missing from the Gatlinburg of today. When we 1st started coming, the town was full of rocking chairs. The place is very historical. We loved our stay.

Lovely, historic hotel with lots of charm! Clean rooms, delicious complimentary breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, all in the perfect location on the Gatlinburg Parkway! Highly recommend!

This is an older property, however it is historic. The rocking chairs out front are charming! This sits in a very convenient location to walk to all the shops, bars, restaurants, attractions, etc. Breakfast was really good!!

The hotel is in a perfect location right on the main drag and is creaky and quirky in all the right ways. The staff is welcoming and so very helpful. The breakfast is better than anything you can get in the surrounding restaurants. We were very pleased with our stay and will be back.

Room and bathroom was very clean Staff was very helpful. We had leftovers from restaurant and they let us put it their refrigerator for a couple days. Breakfast was a buffet and there was a good selection and good food. Parking was easy to unload the car and park. Good location on the Gatlinburg strip to walk to restaurants and things to do.

Everything about this place was excellent. The location for us was a bonus. It is located in the middle of downtown next to the skyride and other shops. We found great music across the street on a rooftop venue on a Tues night.
