I stayed at the Marlton for five nights with a few friends. The hotel is old world gorgeous and the staff are absolutely fantastic. The only issues I had were with the restaurant. Our stay "came with breakfast" but that was a very limited selection and the prices were extremely high for any a la carte items,, even by NYC standards. If basic yogurt or oatmeal will get you by, you'll do great. If not, wander nearby for some great breakfast joints. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Lovely place and great location near Washington Square Park. Enjoyed the excellent breakfast options (included). The room is tiny but looks great and has everything you need. Very nice and capable staff.

What I liked: atmosphere, cleanliness of bed sheets, no funky smell in the room, and friendliness of the staff. What could improve: bathroom smelled a little like…old mop. No screen for windows so I had giant flies in my room.

A nice boutique hotel with European charm. Small rooms but very well appointed with crisp linens and plush robes. And a lovely breakfast is included. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is so charming, staff and are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location is superb in the heart of Greenwich Village with everything in walking distance and an adorable neighborhood to stay in. The rooms had such character. The breakfast included was delicious. Staff were excellent - I had a doublebed in the room booked and when they saw I was pregnant they upgraded me to a queen proactively and provided me with extra pillows. The bed was comfy and the decor delightful. Such a special stay and the team made all the difference :). I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in the west village area, it won’t disappoint!

The Marlton is one my favorite hotels I've stayed in-- while the rooms are small, it sort of feels like you're in your own NYC apartment with the wooden floors and decor. The beds are so incredibly comfortable with nice linens, the location can't be beat, and the bathrooms are so lovely with comfy robes. The soundproofing is great, too. I'd absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the city.

For us the Marlton was an ace: cozy, like the Algonquin before it was ruined; totally friendly and accommodating staff; really surprisingly good breakfast; located in a fun and gentle neighborhood with easy access to everywhere. Do not expect a jacuzzi and/or enough space to play badminton, just a really cool, classy, old timey but hip hotel in New York.
