The location was great, walking distance to any attraction downtown Charleston. The only complaint I had was the parking for the hotel was 4 blocks away

This was a great place to stay. Nice clean room. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice. There was afternoon wine and cheese with other snacks. just a fun time to engage with other guest at the hotel and relax. We found the Hotel to worked well for us. The only thing that would help is possibly having a ice machine upstairs. It is a older building so not sure that could be done very easy. This property is close to the market basically across the road and just south of lots of shopping if you want that. We did valet the car to not worry about parking. it cost forty dollars a day so that was very expensive in my mind but you pay to park everywhere else as well. twenty five if you did it yourself but the walk was a distance from the hotel. This property is easy walking distance to everything. We found this location great for what we wanted to do.

We found the meeting street inn to be totally charming. From the spacious and tastefully decorated rooms(loved the original hardwood floors) to the lovely continental breakfast to the central location this property is a winner. We will be back.

Be at breakfast no later than 9:10 for hot food. Don't expect the room you see online. It's nice though and we enjoyed our stay. Close to good restaurants.

This hotel, located right across the street from the Charleston market, is updated and well maintained for older properties. The staff was exceptional, providing incredible hospitality. The hotel’s convenient location makes it easy to explore the city’s many activities. We’ll definitely be returning.

We loved the breakfast, wine and cheese hour, and evening cookies! The proximity to all of the historical sites was excellent.

Quaint beautiful hotel with great staff. Free light breakfast. Wine and cheese in the evenings. Walkable. Would stay there again. Only drawback is you can’t get your valet’d car anytime you want it.

The staff was super kind and helpful and the room itself was spacious, comfy and clean. The pool was small and a bit dingy and it would've been so much better if there was a fitness center. The continental breakfast was standard, coffee was good and ice machine was clean. I also loved that they had a bottle filling station. One thing is they should allow a cigarette on the balcony or a designated area of the patio. My husband had to walk behind the building to have a smoke

Last time I stayed was 40 years ago, and I felt at home the moment I walked in the lobby to check in..lots of memories, I stayed there at least once a week for at least 5 years until I moved north and almost everything is the same with the exception of some upgrades…..I wish the rest of downtown Charleston retained its charm like The Meeting Street Inn.
