Solo traveler; got a room with a private bathroom. Honestly, everything was perfect for a short stay in an amazingly convenient location - easy to walk to restaurants and the SFMoMA and all the transit lines. Staff was helpful. Everything was clean. The room was small but set up in a very efficient/useful way. I would definitely stay here again!

I’ve stayed here many times and I plan to stay here again. Safe & clean. Courteous staff. Trader Joe’s within walking distance in one direction and Target and CVS (& movie theater) in the opposite direction. There’s a Mel’s Diner around the corner on Mission, The Harlequin is next door and many, many other dining options in the immediate area. BART station entrances conveniently around the corner! It’s downtown, so it can get noisy, although it has never been an issue for me personally. There are no blackout curtains. Each window is a storm window with interior and exterior panes that you can open and close. Keep in mind that the rooms are very small compared to motels and airport hotels. No in-room mini fridge or coffee maker (they do have coffee in the lobby every morning). Some rooms have a closet and some rooms just have hooks or a small/short rack to hang coats/clothes. No dresser. The building is a BEAUTIFUL Victorian style and the rooms are modernly decorated. The location is absolutely primo! If you are afraid of other people in the big city, it’s probably best that you stay near the airport, but if you’re coming to experience SF, book The Mosser!
