A quaint place to stay if headed to the Smokey Mountains. Right at the entrance. Older motel but very clean and bed slept well.

We were only there for a quick weekend, so we didn’t really get to use the amenities. Staff was great, rooms were clean with great AC. Easy in and out. The only thing I would recommend (and it may already be in the works. I know they’ve been updating) is the mattresses. Very old, springy mattresses. And maybe a bear proof dumpster easily accessible to the front row of rooms. We had some poopy diapers, and we hate putting them in the trash in such a small place. Very small things that very minimally affected our stay. We look forward to going back for a longer visit.

Very nice! Loved being in the very back of property. Large field behind us and they had PB courts as well. Very relaxing area and close to everything in Townsend and Cades Cove!

Nice quiet location. Room waa large, seperate bathroom, separate kitchenette area, with mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Clost to SMNP and good resturants.

This was our first stay at the Parkman, formerly, the Talley Ho Inn. We have stayed at several places around Townsend, and feel this is the best so far. We had a second floor room with a balcony, and Mountain View to the east, and it was very enjoyable to have morning coffee as the sun rose above the mountain. We went this year to walk a few trails, and were pleased to see the Townsend Trail runs across the front of their property. Our room was spacious and laid out very well. The staff was very easy to work with checking in and out and very cordial and helpful. Our room was well taken care of by the staff. We enjoyed our stay so much, we went ahead and booked next years reservation.

We arrived after 9pm so the lobby was closed. We just called them before arriving and the wonderful worker got me all checked in over the phone! She was very polite and helpful. Room was very clean and had plenty of space. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent property with a large, comfortable, clean room. Loved the location in Townsend, the peaceful side of the Great Smokey Mountains! Access to the national park was quick and convenient. We loved our stay here and enjoyed excellent coffee at the Artistic Bean and dinners at The Abbey and Peaceful Side Social, all within walking distance from the property.
