We reserved some nights at Pelican while traveling along the coast. Teresa is a wonderful hostess. Every room is unique and beautifully decorated, breakfast is great too. But beware if you're there on sunday or Monday. The town restaurants are mostly closed. On those nights, Sonic is the best place to eat in town..

A truly great breakfast with omelettes, bacon, and croissants. There was a room that had a sleeping number of beds and a claw foot tub. Good choice of stopover between Corpus Christi and Houston. Ask Anthony Ordain where he ate. It's in a convenience store with food within walking distance.

I always love visiting the peaceful Pelican. I love my room, the porch, and just relaxing outside in a peaceful setting. Paula is always a great host! I enjoy visiting other guests and having a delicious breakfast in the morning. I can't wait to come back.

In June 2022, my wife and I spent two nights at the tranquil pelican, and we had a fantastic time. The innkeeper, Theresa, is a delightful person who prepares a delicious breakfast. My wife was able to contact some distant relatives thanks to Paula, the proprietor of this insulting bed and breakfast. The thirdfloor suite we had during our stay was very suitable. Although a previous reviewer cited the dearth of televisions in this bed and breakfast, theres so much history to explore in and around the palais that we did not miss it. This is a great spot to unwind. When we return to the palais area, we intend to remain at the tranquil pelican.

The wifi here was so fantastic, and the lobby facilities were very simple, but the service here was so bad, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a breakfast, a coffee, a book, and a bottle of wine, and this place was so good.
