I inadvertently booked a room where i had to walk down the hall to my bathroom. The very nice hotel manager was able to put me in a different room the next night. As an older person I appreciated that. This place grew on me. Its so near Old Salem and downtown. I was able to walk to many of my activities.

The hotel is amazing, the staff is very hospitable, and the breakfast food is amazing to wake up too. Had a great view of the largest Winston landmark building. Even with bad snowy weather, the warmth and hospitality inside definitely melted all that away in my room. Will definitely return, this is my second stay and not soon to be my last.

Great place to stay, very beautiful, very convenient. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The price was great, Breakfast was also very good and you don’t have to pay for parking like at other hotels.

We stayed in the Wachovia room Christmas Eve to Christmas Day as a midpoint to our final destination. The innkeeper was very attentive in making sure we were able check in late with no hiccups. Instructions were clear, easy to navigate even with a few one way streets near by. We were extremely pleased with the ambiance, location, attentiveness of staff and most of all THE BREAKFAST!! The biscuits and gravy are still being talked about. Rooms were clean, bed was comfy, the clawfoot tub in the room was to die for. We brought a bottle of wine and thought we were SOL — but the room had a wine opener and a bathtub tray to hold my wine and chocolate. Perfect for relaxing and had everything we needed — including water bottles and a mini fridge!

Lovely stay! Can be a little noisy at night as its so close to the interstate but a really nice property and manager is super nice and helpful!
