We stayed overnight at The Spectator for a quick trip to Charleston. Fantastic location just a few blocks from Waterfront Park, close to King Street and great shopping. Fast valet service, experienced butlers and comfortable, spacious rooms. The breakfast in bed was a lovely finish to our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Wow! Excellence personified. 5 star service, Amazing staff, especially Michelle our butler and Wade, the valet crew, front desk welcome cocktail, the welcome bottle of wine and turn down service with the tiramisu and bushwhacker nightcap, the well thought out free snacks, and soft drinks. Great location. We love boutique hotels and Charleston is full of them. The Spectator exceeded our expectations and made it hard to try any place else the next time we visit…and we will be back. Thanks to everyone who made our trip very special. Continued success!

Beautifully appointed room, clean and spacious bathroom with high end fittings and toiletries. A/C worked very well. Mini bar snacks and drinks were a plus, as was room service breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Amazing staff and service made our son's birthday celebration special and was unexpected as we'd mentioned the trip was for his birthday to our butler upon arrival and he asked what our visit entailed to help with reservations or directions to anything and they sent us a small birthday cake complete with balloons and a note from the hotel, which really surprised and delighted all of us in how they'd gone above and beyond here. The breakfast delivery to the room that's included here was also wonderful and always on time and correct with the orders. The device cleaner and noise machine were great perks as well. Definitely recommend this hotel!

This is the 4th or 5th time staying here. The staff is always amazing. They go above and beyond. Girl’s trip, romantic trip - it is the perfect hotel and location. There are many wonderful options in CHS - this is one I will continue to return to and share with family and friends.

Top tier service from the front desk to the valet to the maintenance staff. One of the best overall experiences I've had from a service perspective and the hotel is within walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping in the downtown Charleston.

It's a spectacular hotel in all means. Location, cleanliness, staff, meals. Caring for all the smallest detail you can think of, one of my favorite hotels i have been to. The butler touch was significantly special, thank you all at the hotel for your thoughtfulness, caring and hospitality. We enjoyed it so much. Highly recommended.

Alles im Spectator ist absolut top und empfehlenswert. Besonders erwähnenswert ist der Butlerservice, der einem mit grossem Einsatz und einer stilvollen Zurückhaltung alles abnimmt. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
