Place was clean and well designed. Comfortable bed. I never saw anyone….not another guest, not an employee…but it was very easy access using the punch locks. I did have a quick text with an employee who recommended a very good restaurant

We had an excellent stay at The Water Street Inn. The location is amazing to walk across the 2 bridges into Portsmouth, or into the small area in Kittery for restaurants and bakery. The inn has everything you will need from snacks, coffee, tea, and water. It was obvious the owners pay attention to detail and take pride in their property. When a phone charger was mistakenly left behind in the room it was no problem to reach out and they found it and we arranged to have it sent to us. Would recommend The Water Street Inn!

This is the perfect place to stay. Quiet, clean, beautiful. Very convenient for walking into Portsmouth. Easy access to outlets in Kittery. We’ve been staying there for years and always look forward to our stay.

Great place to stay. Beautiful xeriscaping in front and sides with a covered porch to rock and read under. The room was small (#6) but it had everything we needed. The towels and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel were lovely; we had plenty of towels. I loved the keyless/cardless door locks to the home and room. In the main living room there were myriad K cup coffee’s including soy milk, half & half, and oat milk in the fridge. A different fridge was stocked with little bags of ice to use in the ice bucket available to take to the room. If you BYOB you can label and put in the fridge as well. There was a freezer to re-freeze ice packs that we brought in our cooler. They had instant oatmeal, honey, and sweeteners available. The inn is close to the bridges that you can walk across and get some delish BBQ at Ore Nelle’s. Sit outside and watch the sunset over the water. Lots of restaurants in the town of Kittery, a Juicery, breakfast places and a Laundrette. It was a nice little place to stay and it was very clean. The staff were super responsive and had lots of great tips on dining places in sights to see!
