The property, the views and the room was beautiful. Having access to sodas, snacks and an ice machine were very helpful. We loved having a balcony and additional seating outside the room to further take in the views. Definitely a 10/10!!

We stayed here before our wedding , they upgraded us to a suite. Hands down the best bed and views in Boothbay!!! I wish we stayed longer. Will come back soon.

While a last minute booking, this was a very pleasant surprise. The property is very well maintained, relatively modern, with good amenities, and with great service. They have an anytime tea/coffee/soft drinks station with some snacks, offer a welcome cocktail at check-in, and provide a great breakfast that rivals many B&Bs. Staff is very welcoming and nice. There are many sitting areas around the hotel and on the grounds. Everything was great and we'll stay there again.

We were greeted warmly when we arrived and given a free drink. The room was well appointed with a great deck view of the harbor and was within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was basically gourmet. The dining room was beautiful also with a great view of the harbor. Would recommend to anyone.

This may be the cleanest hotel I've ever been to. Great location on top of a hill near downtown Boothbay. The main house's veranda and breakfast area is everything you'd want from a seaside hotel. Food was delicious and I appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room, as well as access to other drinks in the main house. Expedia put us in the wrong room and the staff was helpful in getting us a refund for the difference in price. Note, if you're on the lower floor, you will hear the footsteps of the people above you.

Our stay at Topside Inn exceeded expectations. Christy provided exceptional service, preparing thoughtful birthday surprises for my mother and arranging a corner room with wonderful views. She also ensured my mother’s dairy allergy was carefully accommodated at breakfast. Her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care made our stay truly memorable. We look forward to returning.

Would definitely visit again. Staff was very welcoming, has a great attention to detail. Breakfast was spectacular, a savory or sweet morning!! And the cookie of the day!! Always coffee and tea and plenty of snacks available!!! The location, at the top of the hill, made for great viewing of the area, not only from our room but the main building as well. It was only a short walk to enjoy the downtown shops and restaurants.
