we just needed a hotel for one night. It was incredibly clean, modern and everything in the room was updated. What I really want to stress is how CLEAN this place was! The bathroom, the bed, everything. All new fixtures in the bathroom too. Guest check in polite and pleasant and effiencient (sp?). Anyway I wish I could have stayed longer. They definitely have our repeat business and I would recommend them highly.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying within the Detroit downriver section. It is close to shopping, the Detroit River, etc. We were there for a fishing tournament and it was very convenient.

This is the worst Ramada I ever stayed in. I now know why the room was so cheap. Beds were hard, pillows small, the smell of the hallways reeked into the rooms and I didn't sleep hardly at all. The Mildew smell was really bad. We only stayed that first nite and I found another hotel for the other two nites we were going to be in town. Besides the hotel being in sad shape they had us park in the back where there were two vehicles that looked like they had been vandalized.

Upon arrival the front desk staff (two women & one maintenace man) were not friendly. The man actually stated that he was surprised that the hotel was still on the internet because the hotel had declared bankruptsy. They argued with me about my reservation. I had reserved 2 rooms not 1. My paperwork proved I had reserved 2 rooms. We had to be moved because one of the "non-smoking" rooms smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Several of theceiling tiles in the hallway had been removed. The room we were moved to actually was clean, except the bedspreads & blankets were old & worn. The iron board cover was ripped and stained. WIth the condition of the hallway, furniture, bedding, etc. and the attitude of the desk help, we declined the continental breakfast and went to the Bob Evans next door. We were in an unknown area and chose to stay where we were since it was late and only for the one night. Had it been daylight, we would have found better accomodations.

We started out in a room where the door key would not work after 4 times of going back to the sevice desk the girl finally decided to change our room but couldn't grasp the concept we needed our luggage out of the room before we could switch. We were then switched to a room that reeked of cigarette smoke after complaining and refusing air freshner they put us in another room on the 2nd floor. Moved all of our stuff and left to meet family came back and AGAIN the room key would not work. After another frustrating trip to the front desk the GIRL was very rude and unprofessional. I will never stay or recommend this hotel to ANYONE!!! It might have been a good deal but it was the worst tripped we've ever taken to Michigan to visit family. The BEDS were so uncomfortable we ended up leaving at 3:00AM headed home Monday morning because I could not take it anymore; I wanted out of there.
