The bed was great. Nice sheets, good pillows, and comforter. Very clean bathroom and tub. The location was perfect. Corktown is cute with nice restaurants nearby. There was a little coffee bar downstairs and the latte was very good. There is a fire pit with chairs to sit around outside.i would definitely come back here.

Enjoyed my stay at Trumbull and Porter. Only a few comments: 1. Staff was very friendly and nice. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Every employee we passed by in the halls greeted us. 2. Location is great. Within walking distances to restaurants, Michigan Central, etc. 3. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the bar, but it looked nice. Will definitely try next time. 4. Our room had a trolley with fresh towels. However, the trolley had some dust. Not a huge issue; I just cleaned the trolley myself. 5. Our room ran out of hot water in the morning. We called reception and they were very apologetic and said they would check the water heaters for issues. We never received a call back to close the inquiry, but we didn't have issues with hot water later at night or the following morning.

Great stay, clean. They have a little coffee shop in the lobby. If you take a shower, the room fogs up, and the room keys expired every day we were there.

Our one night stay was perfect for what we needed. The room was spacious and very nice. The bathroom has an interesting arm hole in the glass partition of the tub that you really can't access the pull knob on the drain to turn on the shower head, but it was fine other than that. We will definitely stay here again when the time calls, and hopefully we can utilize the bar next time as that looked very nice.

Check in with very nice people at front desk was easy. Free secure parking and rooms while maybe a little small were clean and very nice. Corktown has really changed for the better since our last visit 10 years ago. Walked back from downtown at 11:30 and felt very safe with so many new businesses and people milling about. Great job Trumbull and Porter, we will be back.

Great staff. Loved the on-site bar and coffee shop. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. Free parking was a bonus. Quiet location in Corktown with easy access to restaurants and other Detroit attractions. This will be my go-to for future Detroit work trips. Love the eclectic decor and art!
