My teenage kids and I were in Elmira for a wrestling tournament and needed adjoining rooms. Wendy at the front desk was kind and easy to talk to , readily accommodating my families needs. Rooms were immaculately clean , property was perfectly maintained , and the beds were super comfortable. This place was everything my kids and I needed at a reasonable price- if we are ever in the area again we will absolutely stay here.

Good room layout with outlets and lights where you would want them. Microwave and separate sink and mirror outside bathroom. Parked right in front of room, everything easy!

Really nice room -- carefully renovated and clean, well laid out, bright with lots of lights, good heating/AC, even a variety of pillows. Quiet because it is set back from the road. Friendly and helpful staff. A motel stay head and shoulders above most of my hotel stays.

I stayed here with my friend for a night as it was close to our destination. The women who greeted us was very friendly. We explained that we had two vehicles and asked if we could leave one parked in the next day after check out and pick it up later and she was very kind about our request. The room was very clean. The cleaning products they use must be very strong as they have discolored the new hardware in the bathroom. For being off season and really nothing around where we stayed I thought it was pricey. This is not a brand hotel. There is no lobby for coffee or tea but they do have a coffee pot in the room. The room also has a nice sized fridge. The tv worked well. You are able to park right outside of your room which is nice. There was only a couple of us staying that night at the hotel and they had us all lined up. I am sure that was for cleaning purposes to make it easier. I was concerned as I have not seen my friend that I stayed with in quite some time and we stayed uo talking till very late. I was afraid we were perhaps bothering other guests. It was cold that evening and the heat worked great in the room. I would not mind staying here again. The new owners are obviously remodeling and fixing this place up. It is easy to miss fro the road as it still has the old hotel sign.

Very clean and newly renovated. Back from the road so very quiet. We will definitely stay here again! (Didn’t like the crowded/uneven experiences we’ve had at the local larger chain hotels.) Note: They hadn’t installed their new sign yet, as of writing, but we found it easily with map directions. At night “Rodeway Inn” sign was lit. Not a big deal, but the heater thermostat was abrupt at times, and stronger coffee would be welcome.
