Absolutely spectacular experience! We stayed here with a friend in early October. We couldn’t believe what a truly detailed and fun trip into the Viking past! The Viking cabin was luxurious and so well laid out. The showers and bathroom was extremely clean and high and finishes. The kitchen was a perfect size for the group. Our only complaint was the futon in the living room, it was inexpensive/uncomfortable to sit on (we understand it’s perfect for extra bed for children) Such a great time and we loved walking the grounds and the wildlife. We can’t wait to return next year!

The more you slow down, the more details you notice in the craftsmanship and decor. Our family felt so welcome and got to make some rich memories.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. Omg! Probably my most favorite hotel I’ve ever been in (and I’m a big fan of the Madonna Inn). I look forward to seeing how the property develops and hope to stay in again. This was, by far, on of the best deals I’ve had. Only complaint is no hot tub and sauna because when I see Viking stuff I want to get in a sauna!

This place is great! The cabin was equipped with toiletries and coffee for our weekend stay. And the unit was immaculate. Loved having the lighted makeup mirror in the primary bedroom. Only slight negative was that the beds in the loft were not very comfortable. But a kid probably wouldn’t notice. My teenager didn’t seem to. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Our 3 year old son loved running around in the open grassy space and watching the sheep roam. Highly recommend and we are already planning our next visit.

Very different experience and we loved it! We were in town for my husband to run a local marathon and it was nice to have the kitchenette and separate sleeping areas for the grownups and kids. Every detail in the chalet was considered - would definitely come back when we can spend more than one night!
