The staff was amazing! Special shout out to April at the front desk and Ryan poolside for going the extra mile for us. We were given a room with a balcony with the same view as the Live Cam that I watch. A birthday card and box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts was waiting in our room for my 77th birthday! This trip was a treat from my oldest son and the memories are priceless! A Big Thank You to all the staff for their kindness and warm friendship. I couldn't have asked for a better vacation spot or view. Now at home, I turn on the Live Cam and can eat on the balcony in room 2225 every day. A memory I can relive daily! We had a great time here. Everyone was very helpful, from the front desk staff to our housekeepers. The location is amazing. We got a really nice ocean view. There are also free beach towels, benches, and umbrellas available. One night we had tons of teenagers partying loudly for hours past midnight, which was quite disturbing, but the security team was very responsive and helpful. Would def stay again.

The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful in answering any questions we had during our stay. The entire team works hard to maintain the overall beauty of the property, and it doesn’t go unnoticed! The bar was nice, and the staff were very friendly & the drinks were great. Plus, the luau that they host during the week was one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced (I recommend buying your tickets ahead of time). It was our first time visiting Hawaii, & between the beautiful views you have from your balcony or on the rooftop terrace & restaurants, it definitely won’t be our last.

Why we've chosen Marriott Waikiki Beach Hotel and Spa for 2 years in a row as our top favorite hotel and spa in Oahu!! What We Did: We booked through Expedia and chose a Jr. suite which wascorner room with two queen beds overlooking beautiful Waikiki Beach. Expedia also arranged a Tesla rental through Budget/Avis which was such a fun first-time experience for us. We enjoyed dining at all of the Marriotts hotel restaurants - it was so relaxing to order food and bring it back to our room to enjoy on the balcony with the ocean view. The nearby ABC Store was incredibly convenient for everything we needed, from quick $10 sushi lunches to fresh fruit every day. We also loved all the fresh poke bowl and acai spots on nearly every corner - clean, healthy, and delicious. Every morning, we watched the sidewalks being power washed to perfection, and even got to see the Hawaiian crews trimming the towering palm trees high above the streets. One of my favorite experiences was spending a day at the hotel spa, where I had a wonderful hot stone massage that truly helped relieve my lymphedema discomfort. Another thoughtful touch - the hotel surprised our graduate with a beautiful box of graduation chocolates, which meant so much to us. Thank you to Mark, the General Manager, and your entire team for making our stay so unforgettable. You are truly doing an amazing job! This property was wonderful. It was in a perfect location. You could walk to just about anything you could want. The beach was right across the street. Your resort fee allowed for you to take beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards for the beach each day. Additionally, there were fun classes and craft making you could take part in. The housekeeping staff was very attentive. The help desk people were lovely and so helpful. The lobby was expansive, airy, and beautiful for sitting in. Oh and the ADULT POOL! Let me tell you, you won’t know how much you’ve always wanted one until you get to one. No kids being loud and splashing around. It was great! There was a separate family pool though if you are still in that stage of life or have someone else to watch the kiddos for a bit. The work out room was also well outfitted if you feel like getting some exercise in. The meal on Tuesday and Thursday night was delicious if you choose to participate. It was $45 per person, but it is all you can eat, so go hungry!
