This is an older, 1970's style motel. However, the staff is friendly and the room immaculate. The beds are adequately comfortable, although I'd recommend bringing your own pillow if possible, as they were large and hard. The shower is clean, and the bathroom has shampoo and soap. The lighting is thoughtfully placed with plenty of switches and a large mini refrigerator and microwave are convenient. The large room had an area to hang your clothes. Overall, this motel met my need for a safe place to lay my head for a few hours on my way to NY to visit my mother-in-law who was in the hospital.

A clean room and friendly staff are the two things I want from an economy hotel, and White Oaks was excellent with both. The front desk staff was very nice on check in - quick, pointed us to our room, told us about local food options - and the room was already air-conditioned during a heat wave. Staff remade beds and replaced soaps daily. The room was down to the "details". Very satisfied with my stay and would go again if I was in the area.

No frills. Room was clean. If all you're looking for is a place to sleep its exactly that.

I stay at this motel on my was the Long Island each year. I have always had a nice stay. The rooms are clean. It is also very convenient to the Jersey Turnpike. Be sure to visit the Italian Deli only a half mile away!

Room was very clean, bed comfortable and air conditioned. Few minor maintenance issues. No real impact on my comfort. My only negative comment would be pillows very big. I prefer a flat pillow. This is a common issue at most hotels so I travel with my own pillow when I can. Excellent location. Close to Salem Community College, The Shipyard, grocery store and multiple restaurants as well as fast food. Also liked being able to park directly in front of my room.

The place has a great location. Parking is good. AC very good. Coming in on Springer St. have very impressive potholes so go slow. Other than that I would stay there again

This is an older motel but It is kept up meticulously. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this motel for an overnight stay. It is very convient to the highway also.

We stayed one night while visiting family and loved White Oaks. It is our second time staying here and it is a very convenient location, it is always clean, and the staff is always friendly. I do wish the room had a lamp for some dimmer light though. The overhead lights can be very bright at night when you’re trying to wind down for sleep. Otherwise, our stay was perfect.

We had a clean spacious room. It is not a new building but has been updated so it does not look old and has updated electric and technology. the only problem was sketchy or poor internet connection. The price was excellent.

Apart from a few stray hairs and very mild stains on the bedding (which seems to be the case at the vast majority of places), the room was very clean and cozy. Well lit room, great shower, immaculately clean bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, good wifi, very effective heater, and (free) parking very close to room. Staff was very welcoming upon arrival, and everything worked as expected, making White Oaks an amazing value for my stay in the area!

It is a Mom and Pop small motel tucked away safely near I295, perfect for our stay over going to a NJ family event. Everything clean.

Great stay, would definitely stay here again. Room was very clean, comfortable, and and nicely updated. Great motel for an overnight stay, convienent location right after the bridge, amenities not really needed. There is a Wawa, McDonalds, and Dunkin Donuts at the exit.

Great stay, the room was clean and quiet and it was in a pretty location with the fields next door. No bugs and didn’t smell like smoke in the non-smoking room we got. Would stay here again 👍
