Victoria was so welcoming and responsive. The morning breakfast she hand made us was perfect. We loved the location right on the lake and walking distance to food and drinks. Highly recommend!

This was a fantastic historic home to stay at. It was clean, private and the breakfast was excellent every day. One of the best reasons to stay here is the beach access. The hotel is less than 100 feet from the parking lot of Dyckman Beach - a public beach. So easy to walk to each day! We wish the hotel had an ice machine and a microwave for guests.

The Manor is lovely and so close to public beaches on the lake. It’s very comfortable and had sweet little nooks to sit and read or have a quiet moment. Victoria is a wonderful host and keeps the in spotless and running smoothly all the time!

What a charming and beautiful place!! It's literally across the street from the public beach and a short walk from the down town. The only problem was that the BnB was so nice I felt guilty leaving. We just wanted to lay in the sunroom reading and napping all day. The service was great! The owner was prompt to answer the phone and provided breakfast daily despite her son being in the ICU fighting for his life. That goes above and beyond for service to me and I would 10/10 stay again.

We had a very nice stay at Yelton. The room was very clean and the breakfast and amenities were amazing. Victoria greeted us and was an outstanding host. Yelton is within walking distance of everything and is a very relaxing place if you want to stay in.

A delightful week stay at Victoria’s exceptionally comfortable, clean, convenient Yelton Manor. Across the street from Dyckman Beach/Lake Michigan and a block away from other beach accesses. A short walk to downtown South Haven and all it offers. To the “B&B” I would add “&B&B&B … &B” for & Breakfast & Brownies & Books … & Betsy (chef). We stayed in the Avery Beach Hotel Suite in the Guest House (shoutout to Phoenix!) and also enjoyed strolling the gardens, neighborhood, and nearby park. An excursion to nearby Douglas and Saugatuck for some finer shopping and dining is worth the short drive. I have a Cable-Nelson upright and was surprised to learn South Haven was the company’s original home. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Great place, great location, very friendly staff. The only down side is that there is no meat with any of the breakfast options. A little bacon or sausage to go with our eggs would be nice for those of us on a low carb diet. P.S., I threw my low carb diet out the window for a couple of days and enjoyed the delicious french toast.
