Our room was comfortable with good mattresses. Dinner was decent and the buffet breakfast not bad either. The best feature is the pool. Very nice to cool off in. However, the lack of a balcony or fan in the room makes it very difficult to dry our trunks off.

We didn't know what to anticipate because our tour company made our reservation. With a view of the valley, the accommodation had a big bed and two lovely soft seats. The wind in February was so strong that the pool didn't seem to be a good option, and the waves at Lak Lek prevented a boat trip either. There was a large buffet breakfast, and the dining area was big enough to accommodate a large variety of European and Asian guests. Just across the street are coffee shops and karaoke establishments. The menu has a good selection of Vietnamese restaurants, but I didn't think I would eat at the hotel in the evening. If you want to buy, take a taxi to locations because the town is quite spread out.

We selected the buon ma thout and reserved this hotel on our trip down because we wanted to visit a less touristy town while we were there. The hotel itself is pleasant and clean. The room was large and had a lot of electrical outlets, which I find important as I charge many devices and power banks. The price is also adequate, and the breakfast buffet was good. But what I didn't understand was how almost nobody could speak English. It is a hotel. One can assume that foreigners will come. Not here. Receptionists, waitresses and even the woman at the tourist office. We had the good fortune to meet a woman who knew the basic things.

I didn't expect much given the price of the hotel. But, it comes with a beautiful view, and a lovely swimming pool. Breakfast is good with a good variety of Vietnamese and Western cuisine. Definitely going back and recommend it to others.

During our stay in buon ma thout we had a hard time finding English speaking people. However, dam san we found one and she was very helpful. She helped us plan activities and arranged transportation with taxi and bus the room was fine, nothing fancy but tidy. The breakfast buffet has a variety of Vietnamese dishes.
