I will give this hotel 5 stars because of Harry, Amanda, Tracey and the young man who opened the door for us. Lovely people and great team who couldnt do enough for us. The laundry service was 6 star and ridiculously cheap. Also, the location was really perfect. You always felt a sigh of relief from the hustle and bustle when you turned off Hang Bong into the safe little side street where the hotel is located. We loved being able to choose between going along hang bong street into the old quarter or down thang tri to the bottom of the lake and the quiet but interesting area to the south. Our favorite coffee shop was chill 88, a few blocks to the south, near the railway station, just next to the australian ambassadors residence. Great coffee. Only four stars for the rooms and breakfast. Tip: Its best to go down to breakfast before 7 am as it is small and can get packed.

Overall, i strongly recommend this hotel! The best thing about this hotel is the staff, especially amanda. Every single person was helpful, kind, and always smiling. I arrived very early, at 6.45 am, and they very graciously offered me breakfast for free and got me into my room 5 hours early at 9 am, which was a blessing after my 11 hour flight! Meant i could sleep well to get through the day and avoid jet lag. I was so impressed that many places refused to wait until checkin time. Breakfast was excellent, i read some reviews here stating it was simple, but i was impressed with the freshly cooked options of eggs omelettes, crepes, and pho, as well as a buffet with toast, fruit, rice, and noodles, etc. The room was lovely, with very comfortable beds and was very clean. The only downside was the construction next door, which was very noisy at times, but this is not the fault of the calista, just be aware that it wont be quiet after 8 a.M. If you want to sleep in! Great location in the old quarter.

This hotel surprised us and was great. The location is very good. The room was a good comfortable size and very clean. The staff were also great. Excellent service and always available. Unfortunately, there is a construction next door so you cant sleep after 7.30 am. Breakfast could be better especially for foreigners who are used to english breakfasts. Also the breakfast area is very small and gets very packed sometimes lack of space. The lift is very small and only one. At checkout i had to wait about 20 minutes and other people were checking out too. Maybe they should inform their customers when they check in to expect this. But overall a great hotel, i would stay here again.

The staff, especially amanda, were so attentive and helpful. As soon as we entered the room, we were made to feel very welcome. The location was also perfect, a 20minute walk to any major city center attractions. Despite being so central, it was very quiet at night.

This hotel let us down a little. The hotel is in a good location for the old town, but the street is also quite noisy. The rooms have seen better days, but it looks much better in the pictures than it actually is. The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly.

I recommend everyone to stay at this hotel. Everything went smoothly. I plan to return next year. Tracy was incredibly kind and patient. The breakfast was excellent, and the room was tidy and pleasant. Because the town center is close by and we can stroll and explore the area, the hotels location is excellent for tourists.

After a 16hour flight to hanoi, we arrived at the calista hotel feeling exhausted, and we couldnt have asked for a nicer rest. We were upgraded to a larger room for free, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, the room was spotless, and the bathroom had all the conveniences. The staff was incredibly kind, served a freshly made breakfast, and was conveniently located within walking distance of everything. I would definitely recommend it and return!.

This is a great hotel with great staff, very well maintained, even though it looks small from the outside. Great spread for breakfast, but the breakfast room is quite small for the number of guests. The lift is small so it takes time during peak hours. Great recommendation especially for tourists using hanoi as their base.

The hotel is conveniently located in the old quarter, which is the central point for all tourist pickups. Its also very close to the night market and shopping streets to buy souvenirs. The staff are polite and helpful, and amanda and tracie made sure we had everything we needed! The breakfast buffet is great, healthy and has enough variety. I recommend the bananachocolate crepe and the chicken pho! Overall a great stay, highly recommended. Will definitely stay here when i visit again!.

Kami menginap di hotel ini pada awal tur kami dan sebelum keberangkatan pada malam terakhir sebelum keberangkatan. Hotel ini menampilkan diri dengan baik, dengan staf yang ramah dan membantu. Kebersihan kamar sempurna, mungkin sedikit kecil untuk menginap jangka panjang, tetapi dilengkapi dengan segala kenyamanan. Sarapan sempurna, ruang sarapan agak kecil menurut saya. Lokasi luar biasa dekat dengan pusat kota. Saya akan memberikan skor maksimal jika bukan karena saya meninggalkan suvenir dengan permintaan untuk mengambilnya kembali ketika saya kembali, suvenir yang saya temukan telah diberikan kepada pelanggan lain. Hanya atas permintaan kami, kami mengembalikan uang jika tidak, kami hanya akan menerima permintaan maaf. Sayang sekali karena menunjukkan kedangkalan dan sedikit merusak masa menginap.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is great for anyone visiting hanoi. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast at the hotel. But what really sets this hotel apart is the staff. Thank you to amanda, trawangan and harry, who are truly remarkable and will always go above and beyond to ensure that guests have the best stay possible.

The service was outstanding. Our triple room was roomy and had a balcony. The cuisine was delicious. The staff went above and beyond to assist me, even though i had back problems. They went above and beyond to assist me. So far, the service has been excellent.

If i ever return to hanoi, i will definitely choose calista again! The one factor that will draw me to return to hanoi is the hotel in hanoi. The location is ideal. The room is tidy. The hotel staff is courteous, kind, and accommodating. Without their excellent service, we wouldnt have had a wonderful vacation.

The rooms are nice and the location is very close to restaurants and attractions. The hotel needs 2 lifts as it takes too long during breakfast and checkout times. Also the dining hall needs to be bigger for the number of guests. Many guests turned back due to lack of space. The spread was decent.
