Overall, if you want to have an authentic experience, this is the place to stay in sapa. We had a great time at the Hmong sister house. Our host was very helpful and kind. The food was fresh and delicious. We rented a scooter from our hosts and visited local villages and attractions. We also recommend a oneday trek, it is an opportunity to see the nearby rice fields and learn about the local culture and the rice production process.5,0/514 Feb 2025

The trek was not just a physical odyssey but also a profound connection with the cultural heritage of the valley. I engaged with the friendly locals, learned about their ageold traditions, marveled at their intricate craftsmanship, and relished the flavors of their authentic cuisine. Highly recommended! We had the most beautiful stay with the hosts, lily and ziZi, and their families. They were very welcoming and helpful, the meals were delicious, and so was the house. Overall, we highly recommend the buffalo trek with hmong sister house for an unforgettable experience in vietnam. A mustdo mustdo is the buffalo trek. Along the route, you will encounter iconic buffalo species. Spending an overnight at the buffalo house in the forest offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in local culture and customs. Our guide, chili, was extremely helpful and informed about the area and Hmong customs. Without him, we couldnt have completed the trek! The food was delicious, and we were able to sample some amazing local specialties like pho and spring rolls. Hmong sister house offers the best of both worlds a natural seclusion and convenient access to the town. It allowed us to enjoy peaceful moments while being only a short trip from Sapas bustling markets and attractions. The staffs helpfulness in organizing transportation made our exploration easy. The house may be a bit far from the center of sapa, but its idyllic location amidst nature added to the unique charm of our stay. I will definitely remember this homestay. Beautiful place, delicious food, Lilly, zizi, chin chin and our guide su taking such good care of us. You can book nice tours, family dinners, laundry, sell clothing and other souvenirs. The food was average, nothing special. The atmosphere was great, you get a real hmong experience. The service is excellent, they will help you with everything from hiking to taxis. Cons : During the winter, it is not easily accessible because the road is very slippery and wet, the house also has no insulation, so it gets very cold.
