We stayed at La Siesta Premium Hang Be in Hanoi for 4 days as part of a two-week trip. This hotel is superbly placed for many of the tourist spots, two minutes’ walk to Café Giang (birthplace of egg coffee) and Pho Inn (best beef brisket Pho in Hanoi) four minutes to Ho Hoan Kiem lake, the red bridge and Beer Street, but it still manages to retain its local charm and sense of culture. The hotel is very boutique and modern but with a nod to its French heritage, immaculately clean, spacious bedrooms (we chose a Junior suite) well equipped and tastefully furnished throughout. It has an excellent restaurant, hosting a superb and varied daily breakfast and evening meals, we visited the rooftop bar at nighttime for happy hour on several occasions as it has a great vibe and bags of character. But the real jewel in the crown is the hotel staff, they were truly superb, everyone went out of their way to help. Nothing was too much trouble; they knew every inch of their city and gave us some great tips of where to go and what to see. It’s the little touches that make the difference, we’ve stayed at some great hotels but never had this level of detailed service. A special mention goes to Ruby at the reception desk, always ready to greet you with a huge smile, a genuine happy person who truly loves their job and being able to help her guests get the most from their time in Vietnam. A truly superb hotel, we loved every minute of our stay and would go back again without hesitation.

The staff were extremely professional and helpful. Our rooms were clean and beautiful. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, the wait staff were excellent. The location is in a central area with many restaurants. Keep in mind it is in a bustling area with city noises. I loved people watching from the balcony. My family of five loved our stay.

La Siesta Premium Hang Be is one of our favorite boutique hotels in Hanoi. We have stayed there several times over the past couple of years, and it never disappoints. The hotel is beautifully decorated, very clean, and perfectly located in the heart of the Old Quarter, just a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake and many of Hanoi’s main sights. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Depending on the room location, you may hear a little street noise, but it has never been a major issue for us. The staff is wonderful — kind, helpful, and always welcoming. A special mention to Mrs. Linh Pham, who always goes above and beyond to make sure guests have a great stay. The welcome drink and fresh fruit at check-in are also a lovely touch. Breakfast at Cloud Nine restaurant is excellent, with beautiful views and a generous buffet offering many choices. We also love the Lighthouse Sky Bar for great cocktails and beautiful nighttime views over Hanoi. We have not tried La Spa yet, but after reading so many good reviews, we definitely will next time. Overall, a beautiful hotel with excellent service, a great location, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended.

A lovely comfortable stay. Linh and the staff were so kind and helpful. Great communication with us, arranging transport from the airport. Restaurant tasting menu a delight and location was perfect as right in the centre of the Old Quarter, perfect for exploring the area. Linh gave us lots of information to help us enjoy our stay and the Sky Bar happy hour was enjoyed immensely with a fantastic view of the city. Thank you 🙏

This place is very clean and well maintained. I came back a few times already and the location is central. May is good month to travel to Hanoi and affordable prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. So much hospitality and assistance from staff from what to eat, what to do, and how to get around. The staff is so well trained and professional. The suite is spacious and comfortable; the bed and bathroom are super clean and comfortable. The superior room is also very spacious and comfortable. Love this place and always come back here once or twice annually. I would recommend this stay at the old quarter if you want accessibility and yet comfort.

Great location close to many attractions. The room was clean and comfortable. It was also quiet despite being in the middle of the Old Quarter. The hotel doesn't have a gym, but guests can use the gym at the sister hotel, a 2 min walk away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

My only recommendation if you’re looking at booking this property and are a larger individual is to upgrade to a mini suite as the deluxe room bathroom is very tight where the toilet is located. Otherwise the hotel is very nice, excellent staff and the location is very good. Breakfast buffet was adequate, roof top bar is a nice escape after a long day. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Hanoi.

I couldn’t recommend a better hotel in Hanoi! The property itself was beautiful, spotless, and very easy to find. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, even remembering each member of our family every time we returned from our daily adventures. Their recommendations for sightseeing were incredible, and their laundry service was quick and seamless—such a huge help while traveling. At one point, we needed transportation for the day, and they effortlessly arranged a private car for us, making everything so convenient. A special thank you to Ruby, who my son absolutely adored—he looked forward to seeing her every time we walked through the doors. Honestly, the level of care and hospitality we experienced here alone is enough reason for me to return to Hanoi. Highly recommend!
