I believe this is the nicest hotel in Cao Bang. We booked an executive room, which had plenty of space for my wife and me. We were also on the 18th floor, so the views were wonderful each day, even when it was foggy or overcast. The location is in the middle of the city. It was a short walk to great coffee, great bread, and a great vegan restaurant. It was also alongside the Friday and Saturday night market on Kim Dong. The couch and chairs in the living room are far from soft. The AC unit was inconsistent - sometimes the correct temps and sometimes it would shut off for too long. The bathroom was a dream - with a jacuzzi tub, roomy shower, and very nice amenities provided. The complimentary breakfast was good quality. The young lady chef with the glasses was always friendly and smiling, and she makes good omelets. The pool upstairs is big, but fills up due to the hotel selling access passes to non-guests. The pool hours are also strange, as it's closed from 10am-4pm daily. The housekeeping staff and front desk staff are outstanding, especially Miss Minh Dieu, who helped us out with a few things we needed. For everything you get, the prices are very reasonable. We would be happy to stay here again.

部屋は広々していて快適でした。ただ、隣の部屋の声は筒抜けです。朝食はメニュー豊富で良かったです。エレベーターのボタンが抜けてない階があったのが気になりました。スタッフのは皆さん親切で優しかったです。

This is a wonderfully fancy hotel in the heart of a unique little city. Our only complaint (very minor, mind you) was the beds were a little hard for our tastes.

The pool and gym at the top do not have any sort of air conditioning—poor air circulation so it can feel like a sauna. The pool area has some tiles that are slippery when wet—dangerous choice of flooring. From the pool, the door to go to the bathrooms is locked so you have to walk all the way around (on the wet tiles) to get to the bathroom. Also, with that door locked there’s only one way in and out, this could be dangerous in an emergency. Okay, enough about that! The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. For being a five star hotel I thought there would be bathrobes available in the rooms, but there were none. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Hotel avec de grande chambre avec belle vue, bien située. L'equipe est sympatique mais ne parle pas anglais. Toutefois ce n'etait pas un problème pour se faire comprendre. Le bagagiste etait tres gentil et servibale. Je pense que le service lors du check in, pourrait s'ameliorer en fournissant des informations pratiques sur les lieux à visiter, comment s'y rendre ou proposer des tours ou une liste de restaurant recommandé. Le rooftop offre une belle vue, et un moment de sérénité. Le petit déjeuner est pas terrible mais correct. Globalement c'est un lieu assez calme qui apporte sérénité.

The service here is terrible. There are lots of locals from Saigon that come to this hotel and is very loud. My room had a water leak, nothing was done about it. I requested two bottles of water from room service and was told there would be a charge. But if I dialed reception and requested there would be no charge?!?. So I requested it from the receptionist and was still charged when I checked out. The breakfast buffet is underwhelming. This does not meet a 5 star standard, I would say it's a two star at best. Would not recommend this hotel.
