We liked the hotel fine, unfortunately our neighbors decided to party late, my wife went next door to ask them to quiet down and they wanted to fight?? The staff was not very helpful in this situation. There is no bar at the hotel, the beach is terrible but you can get a golf cart ride to the store.

what i did not like: room was fine, not crazy dirty but our fridge was completely broken so we couldnt leave any drink or food in there. There is a ceiling light that doesnt turn off so whoever stayed in the room before ducktaped some instant noodle cup label over it to block the light. Almost felt like i was watching the lunar eclipse every night. WHAT I TRULY LIKED: short distance to walking street/food market. Easy ride to the airport. Front desk and hotel staff were friendly and the best, we forgot our expensive fishing rods by the walking street and the hotel manager was driving me around to look for them and calling the police department to check the cameras. We were able to find the cleaning lady and found our items on the street and brought it back to us all within 30mins right before our flight. And for that i am forever in debt with your kindness and generosity. Thank you!!!

The hotel is big and the room spacious with all essential amenities. The buffer breakfast has a lot of varieties but the food seem not as fresh and authentic. The major plus is their staffs dedication to the job and helping guests at their capable best. Because the staffs are so lovely, the hotel condition does work for us, despite the hotel is situated in the middle of an estate in mid-construction and not close to the beach. The hotel has a shuttle bus service to Duong Dong at 7 pm each night, an effective airport shuttle bus, renting out motobike at a very reasonable price (12 AUD a day), and transport to a very small beach (this is Phu Quoc, no immense beach, be ware) even though we had to pay 3AUD each for the beach chair (bring tower with you because none will be provided), apparently this is a beach shared by many hotels in this area. The only one thing that bothered me is I found the stained toilet seat in our room when we first arrived. The pool area has the look of a cheap motel set up and actually spoiled the look of "Luxury" Muong Thanh. In conclusion, we are happy and have high praise for the staff at Muong Thanh Phu Quoc.

Friendly staff, very good breakfast, big rooms, all in all very satisfied with the resort. A bit outside of the the rest (ie Duong Dong). Very quiet area. Hotel fixed shuttle from airport, one thing to mention is we waited for while before the shuttle showed up. Other than that, nothing to complain about. Gym is larger than what you normally get at hotels (at least in Europe).

I traveled here with my family for a summer vacation on a night special promotion package. The location was nice and was close to the beach, which was incredibly helpful to us as we walked every morning. The food was excellent, combining traditional Vietnamese food with some Western. The menu also changed daily for the morning buffet. Everyone always smiles and offers to help and chat when it's convenient for us. They also offered to help us find other popular and fun places on the island. The manager hung handled the issue quickly and made sure we were the most assisted. 100 items are recommended.

The location was good, quite far from the city center but close to the beach at only 150 meters. The room was old and very simple but spacious. The soundproofing was an issue as guests who returned to the hotel at night made noise and we could hear them loudly. Breakfast is boring

We stayed at the hotel on the new year, and we had a great time. Although it says luxury hotel, we understand for a fact that luxury hotel in Vietnam or other countries in this area does not have the same meaning as luxury hotel in western Europe. The hotel is also rated as a star hotel in Europe, so they are worth the price! We had a great time and will return. The hotel arranged a new year buffet dinner at the pool with whom we came. They did an amazing job creating a great evening buffet, constructing a stage, live music, local dancing, counting down, and so on. Unfortunately, many of the guests left after enjoying the buffet, which was a shame. We only left a few people at midnight. Some visitors are rude to the staff or take consideration of other guests. We have experienced this not only here, but also on other trips to Egypt or Thailand. Its a sad bid. We are visitors from another nation and should be courteous and behave well. The staff has a hard time filling stations according to the hotel they have three bars, so it was very disappointing that we couldnt get a drink at the rooftop bar before or after dinner, the rooftop bar was not open during our stay, the coral bar was not open during our stay, and the pool bar was only open throughout the day. The pool bar had drinks cards that were not available,

It is recommended for visitors who like a quiet vacation. A little way from the bustling downtown. There are several small restaurants to eat in within 5 minutes. The room is clean. Have a cozy pool. A small beach that is near to the novel. It is very convenient to have a car transfer. The hotel staff is particularly excellent. At the counter, a staff member can speak simple Chinese. There is a free airport transfer. Reservations for the night market shuttle must be made in advance. The pool's towels must be brought with the bar. Breakfast is also good.

Room spacious. Only my shower the sewerage not good. Took times for drain my shower water. Hopefully they can improve that. So far I really enjoyed my stay. I will come back n stay again. Hopefully my shower is better conditions in the future. Super friendly staff.
