Stayed here on an off for a total of around 10 days. Very friendly staff, very simple but very clean rooms. Room size was more than adequate as a solo traveller with desk and bar fridge. If you want luxury then this may not be the place for you, however if you have had enough of hostels and want a room to yourself at a great price i cannot recommend this place highly enough. *One note- there is no elevator, so if you have trouble with stairs this accommodation may not be suitable. If or when i return to Ho Chi Minh i will definitely be returning to Son Tung. Beats the hell out of a hostel! Thank you to all the friendly staff.

The hotel is located in the nice area near lots of eateries and place for tourist like Pham Ngu Lao. There're a lot of famous restaurants nearby. It is also walkable to attractions like Benh thanh market or Saigon square. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. The room is clean and perfect for such a price we got. I will recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff and a very nice large room for the price with fridge and very good wifi also. There are only two rooms per floor and so if you struggle with stairs, it might be hard as there is no lift but I'm fine with stairs so was perfectly happy and it well worth the climb! Good location, just South of the main backpacking area but literally a few mins walk so its still close but very quiet.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. We got fresh towels and toilettes. At night you have to ring a bell to get in as you dont get a seperate key to the main entrance. It wasn't a problem for us as we were quickly let in and we felt really safe in the hotel (also motorcycles were locked in and under supervision). Overall, for us pleace got everything we needed and was close to the Ben Thanh market.

Super nice people. My boyfriend lost his passport in a taxi and the person went out of her way to help us write a police report. The food nearby is affordable and it's walking distance to Ben than market. Overall I would stay again.

well located with easy access from airport by bus (get off at tran hung dao or rap hung dao stops, cross the street, walk down de tham road about 100m and voila! Hotel is small, not posh looking, but for the price, it is very worth it. Room is clean and most important, the aircon works, no funny smells or mozzies. Windows both ends (you know when its morning lol) the beds are free of bugs, comfortable (I booked single person but room can actually sleep three with one queen bed which i used for my luggage and clothing as the wardrobe was a bit creaky while i slept on the twin bed). Bathroom does not have a shower screen but the shower is strong and heater works well, wc and washbasins are new looking and clean, no ugly stains etc, plus the airy bathroom window ensures that the bathroom dries rapidly. Staff are generally helpful and you can get your local phone sim card at the phone shop occupying the hotel annexe just next to reception. Food and drinks very convenient plus its a short walk to backpackers pub area with all the nightlife and restaurants pubs. transport is easy, walk back to bus stops at tran hung dao or rap hung dao along the tran hung dao road and you can get buses to anywhere you want but i walked most times as its very near to ben thanh market etc. Only issues, no elevator (ok for me) be careful of the traffic, and if you are a late sleeper, the roosters crowing and neighbourhood women chattering as they get ready for the day will wake you up at 5am...

Overall good. There is a rooster living in the building beside so you need ear plug. Hot shower, a/c + fan, tv. Close to the backpackers street (bars), restaurants and coffee shop. There is an outside BBQ pork chops restaurant in front of the hotel to your left for 40,000d which is very good and also a little underground coffee shop right beside and the lady is lovely!
