In many cases, much worse! The only drawback to this hotel is that the 90-person clientele. They have absolutely no regard for anyone or anything. The room was tidy, the bed linen was lovely, and they had western-sized towels inside. The room was fully furnished, and the towels were in western sizes. When I called the first time, they had correctly assigned my name to the room I had asked for. There is plenty of hot water, and the wifi was solid. There were some broken parts, but this is Vietnam, so fixing things is not a big deal. One morning, it started at 3 a.m. Unlike some other reviews, I found that some members of the personnel have limited English. A little help is sufficient. They can all read and write it, even try composing a note the next time and you can always mime some other items! This can be a wonderful boon to others in this price range.

We stayed here only because it was directly across from the bus station. The rooms are spacious and clean but the basic items are missing like tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer, extra pillows, and breakfast. We stayed in cheaper accommodation while traveling and this has to be the least value for money.

I will remain here again and would rank this as a decent hotel. A discount on other hotels in this price range. After reading the reviews, which seemed mixed, none were particularly terrible. I have lived here long enough and have traveled extensively beyond cities to grasp that things can always be worse. In a lot of instances, it's far worse! What occurs is that most reviews are written by people who want the experience but wish to take advantage of pittsburghstyle accommodations. It isn't going to occur in Vietnam and in a Vietnam-owned-managed $15 per night hotel. I was treated graciously, and they had actually written my name down for the room I had called first. The room was clean, the bed linen was lovely, and there were western-sized towels in it. WiFi was good, and there was plenty of hot water. There were a few broken items, but this is Vietnam and they don't seem to do much about fixing things. They are not significant things. Breakfast is only served in the restaurant, and it is sparse. There are many places available on foot for breakfast and other meals. My instance, the folks upstairs were fetihs for rearranging the room's furnishings. It started at 3 in the morning.
