This is a quiet resort only a few minutes from a nice beach. You will find about ten well rated restaurants within a ten or fifteen minute walk. They serve a nice breakfast, with good options. If your looking for a quiet place to relax, swim and eat lacal food, this us a great spot

On Ong Lang beach away from the downtown area Vela Phu Quoc is a hidden gem for price and comfort. 50 yard walk to Ong Lang beach and nestled between all the expensive resorts is a perfect getaway. Large rooms with AC, mini fridge and t.v., bathroom with enclosed shower ( always has plenty of hot water), pool area, kind and friendly staff and some really nice resturants right down the road. You can take the free bus to go just about anywhere you'd like on the island. They can also help you to book tours and cabs. I cannot say I've had a more comfortable and economical stay anywhere.

Mysigt mindre hotell perfekt för familjen. Rena rum, helt ok frukost (riktigt goda pannkakor) men väldigt hårda sängar. Ligger väldigt mysigt med flera restauranger runt om. Lite trafik i området vilket passar barnfamiljen. Väldigt nära en superfin strand. Rekommenderas

Friendly hard working staff, 2 minute walk to beautiful warm sandy beach, walking distance to many restaurants and convenience store. Great complimentary breakfast. Nice pool and gym onsite.

Vi är mycket nöjda med val av hotellet och läget. Fin service och riktigt härlig frukost varje morgon. Närhet till de bästa stränderna och småstadslivet. Skulle starkt rekommendera kommande besökare att välja detta boende eller närliggande.

We had a great 6 nights at Vela 😀 complimentary airport transfers both ways were flawless, breakfast was diverse each morning, bed was comfortable, air con strong, room clean. All staff were helpful and friendly, the stroll to the beautiful beach only took a few minutes, wifi was good, pool was refreshing. Lots of eating places nearby, mini mart was close, as was an ATM. The morning we checked out we had an early flight so they packed us a breakfast box each consisting of bananas, bacon and egg toastie and a bottle of water, this was a pleasant surprise :) We would definately stay here again.

This hotel was exactly like we expected. Nice, comfy, quiet, chilled hotel in a nice area. The service was really good! We really felt like home and were sad to leave. The rooms have nothing special and are exactly like in the pictures. The breakfast was good and pool really nice. The best thing is that you literally can walk to the beach in 3 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and you don’t have to bump into tourist attractions all the time like eg in Long beach. I definitely recommend staying in this hotel!

Отель расположен достаточно близко от пляжа. Пляж великолепный - чистый, песок при ходьбе пищит - создает веселое настроение. Море на всем протяжении отдыха (10 дней в декабре) было спокойным, хотя три дня дул очень сильный ветер. Периодически приплывают небольшие катера с туристами, но это не мешает отдыху. За три дня объехали остров на мотобайке, его можно взять на прокат на каждом углу и стоит не дорого, можно поторговаться. Места очень красивые. Отель: номера уютные, чистые, практически каждый день меняют полотенца и туалетные принадлежности, белье через 2-3 дня. Нас не устроил номер, в который нас заселили, и его поменяли без лишних вопросов. Хозяйка отеля Зоя очень хорошо говорит по русски, поэтому было легко общаться по любому вопросу. В целом цена-качество соответствуют нашим ожиданиям. Думаем приехать сюда уже с внуками еще раз.

Der Strand war so schön, dass wir uns von dort gar nicht entfernt haben. Man bekommt eine Matte und Strandhandtücher. Das Frühstück war gut ( hatten aber schon bessere), die Massage ist extrem empfehlenswert und das Personal sehr bemüht. Man sollte bei der happy Hour kontrollieren, ob tatsächlich Hapoy Hour Preise verrechnet werden (2x wollten sie uns den vollen Preis verrechnen).

We are really glad that we chose Vela Phu Quoc Resort. The room was was modern and clean, the pool was great and it is a few minutes' walk to a lovely beach which was really quiet. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. It was fantastic value for money and we'd happily stay here again.

Etsimme poikaystäväni kanssa siistiä, rauhallisemmalla alueella olevaa hotellia ja päädyimme VELA resorttiin. Emme katuneet valintaamme kertaakaan. Rannalle kävelee kaksi minuuttia, alueella on mainiot ruokailumahdollisuudet ja hotellin henkilökunta ystävällistä, erikoismaininta vielä aulassa kellon ympäri työskentelevälle naishenkilölle :) VELA on noin 10 km Phu Quocin suosituimmasta rannasta ja vilkkaasta turistialueesta. Meillä tavoitteena oli välttää suurta turistimassaa joten pohjoisemmasta löysimme kauniit hiljaiset rannat ja vähemmän ihmisiä. Vuokrasimme skootteerin jolla pääsimme haluamiimme paikkoihin, ja jos vietimme aikaa lähistöllä oli hotellilla ilmainen pyörävuokraus :) suosittelemme paikkaa lämmöllä !

Erholsamer Urlaub in neuerer schöner Anlage nahe dem schönen ruhigen Strand (3 Min. Gehweg). Sehr sehr freundliche und aufgestellte Mitarbeiter, wenn auch teils das KnowHow bezüglich Hotellerie und Sprache noch etwas fehlt. Saubere geräumige Zimmer, leider war der Safe defekt, ebenso der ausgetauschte, sodass wir keinen zur Verfügung hatten. Fühlten unsere Sachen aber auch ohne Safe sehr gut aufgehoben. Fahrradverleih gratis, leider sind die Fahrräder in recht desolatem Zustand. Leckere Speisen zum Frühstück, ebenso a la Carte am schönen Pool oder zum Nachtessen. Kostenloser Shuttleservice vom/zum Flughafen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We liked our stay very much. Facilities are new and maintained very good. We felt really safe because the resort has security and neighbourhood is quiet and safe. Beach is 100 m away, very beautiful and sea is very clean.We were impressed by professional attitude and hospitality of Resort Manager (Mr. Chau). He speaks very good English so communication was easy. Mr. Chau and his team did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. Employees on reception desk were very friendly and helpful (quick, as well). The food in restaurant is very good and prices are better than outside of resort. One evening Mr. Chau organised special dinner for employees and us (he did not forget it was also one of our birthdays :) !) so we really enjoyed that nice guesture. The room cleannes is very good, as well. Everything was so good therefore the only logical thing was to come back to Vela Phu Quock Resort after a week that we needed to spend on some other part of the island ...(no need to say that Mr. Chau organised the welcome transfer again, professionally, courteously and hospitably). We felt that people in Vela Phu Quock resort care for customers therefore we recommend this place and this team for good and enjoyable vacation. Great value for money!

We had a great time during our stay at Vela. The staff were very attentive and tried to make our time there feel really special. We loved the location as it was in a quieter part of Phu Quoc with other nice resorts close by that you can use (Mango Bay has a lovely beach and bar area). The pool area at Vela was fantastic too!

+ Отель -самый ближний к морю из бюджетных цен. Территория небольшая, зеленая, неплохой бассейн. Хорошие завтраки. Чисто убирают. - отель обслуживает пакетных туристов из России. Нам не повезло. Была толпа земляков с кучей маленьких (в колясках) вечно орущих детей, на которых родители не обращали никакого внимания. Это было ужасно. Поэтому, если вам необходим ОТДЫХ выбирайте другой отель, или запасайтесь берушами. Ощущение было, что мы находимся в детском саду, а не в отеле. Просите второй этаж. Это избавит вас от грохота и крика над головой во время детских ,,игр,,... Весь остров Фукуок -одна большая помойка. Поэтому приготовьтесь к другой реальности, выходя за пределы чистого красивого отеля... Море на Онг Ланге чище, чем в городе, заход плавный, песочек. Но маску брать не стоит, если вы планируете только прибрежный снорклинг.
