We live this hotel. It’s our second time in Lusaka & we were here for 2 weeks. The staff are incredible, the site is serene and the breakfast is fabulous! The price for the hotel & amenities can’t be beat.

Take it from a 40+ year traveler in 39 countries, Mika Convention Center is well worth your visit and consideration on your next trip to Lusaka, Zambia. The staff is attentive, courteous, helpful, well equipped, trained, and highly motivated. The Center is still under construction, so if one is looking for a completely finished site, one would need to wait until July 2015. In spite of the fact that not all the little finishing touches are yet in place, the Mika Convention Center allowed me four days of productive work and restful relaxation. It is very quite (no barking dogs at night, loud parties, or street noise). My room was comfortable and had all the amenities I would expect of a business level type of lodging. Separate shower and bath, hot and cold running water, though water pressure needs to be increased a bit. Rooms are spotless. Fresh sheets and towels everyday. Room keeping did a fantastic job each day cleaning every surface I touched! The in-room refrigerator was welcome on warm days to cool off the bottled water house keeping provided. In fact, as much bottled water as you care to drink is complimentary. On a rainy day, the staff drove me to the reception area in the center golf cart. Guest rooms are about 200 meters from the reception area. I was amazed at the few mosquitos throughout the property. This was a good value for the price. A disclosure, I paid a promotional price through Expedia bundled with my air travel. I plan to return on my next trip.

I would like to thank the Manger of the Hotel, you are truly a Professional, I would like to thank Mrs. Sakala for making sure I had every thing I needed to make my stay more a Excellent one. Thank you Peter for the transportation to and fro. A Big Thank you to all the Chefs in the Kitchen, Thank you House Keeping for Cleaning my room everyday. Thank you to all the Personal trainers for helping me to get back in Shape. Thank you Moses for the Conversations we had during my Stay keep up the good work. It’s a wonderful unique place. Very safe and secure!! The room is quite and clean. Staff are friendly and kind. Breakfast is yummm 😋 gym is amazing!! It’s unbelievable. Also there is spa on the side. Great !!👍

My husband and I stayed here for 5 of our 20 days in Zambia and I wish we would have booked more for the price offered on Orbitz! It was clean, comfortable and quiet! The rooms are far enough away from the conference rooms! The place needs some maintenance but everything worked well, including the Internet which was the best we had anywhere else! The food was ok, I wouldn't recommend eating at the restaurant due to the lack of choices, but it was nice that breakfast was included. Wish I had taken pictures! It's a cute place but I don't feel the pictures they provide are quite accurate. I thought it would be much bigger than it was, but it's a small nice place.
