Maha hills is the ideal location for you to stay if youre seeking an authentic balinese experience. The hotel is located in the mountains, about a 30minute taxi ride away from Lovina. You can see the real life of bali and the rice fields as you drive up to the mountain and hotel. Additionally, you can take some enjoyable hikes around the hotel and meet some very friendly locals. There are also some waterfalls nearby. We spent four nights at Maha Hills and had countless hours there. Although the motel has minor flaws, all the positives let us forget the few flawes that remain. Very friendly and helpful staff members are present. Many thanks to made, the hotels driver, ardi, martika, dayu, Paris, and other employees, as well as to Ardi who organized the trip.

Excellent Spa Experience! At the first we plan to stay just one night here, but after one night passes we decided to stay one more night. The view around this resort is really awesome, they also served vegan and non-vegan food and both are delicious. The room very clean with really nice and friendly staffs. But the thing that really make us decided to stay one more night here was the Spa. We came to this resort after took trekking package at Aling-aling waterfall. After arrived at this resort they welcome us with really warm greeting that make us feel like home, they also gave us welcome drink and welcome massage. The welcome massage was really good but it takes really short time (10 minutes), so we decided to booked some treatment from the Spa. We took Signature Healing Massage with Balinese Boreh Scrub and Foot Reflexology, for next day we booked aromatic healing massage. All treatments were really awesome and did not disappointed at all. The staff were friendly, professional and well trained. We never expect will got such a great Spa experience from north Bali. We will definitely return to this resort again.

We hope to return in the future. The resort is ideal for couples or retreats. Despite being a little distant from the airport, the experience was unforgettable. Its situated near tastier waterfalls, so the natural sound is incredibly soothing. We took the sunrise dolphin tour, which was organized by the resort and takes about 30 minutes. I believe breakfast is superior to dinner in my opinion. Although it isnt served buffetstyle, there are plenty of options. Our experience at sunrise is also exceptional, as we were treated to the best massage ever. Being close to flora makes for realism to watch dolphins swim freely in water. Additionally, we received the finest massage ive ever had because it was right next to an waterfall, thus the naturally occurring noise is quite beneficial. With excellent technique and pressure, masseurs, they are skilled. While we paid twice as much for our spa at seminyak, our experience wasnt even comparable to that at Mahahills either. In addition, during our meditation session, where we experienced calm and felt zen, it helped us clear our minds. Friendly and courteous instructor. All staff members at the front desk, experience team, driver, yoga instructor, teacher, chef, restaurant waiters, etc., are friendly and fluent in english. They are very accommodating and will make your trip memorable. Bravo to all of the team.

This place is highly recommended for visiting singaraja. A lovely hidden gem in the north of bali. The restaurant has a beautiful view, delicious food, and incredibly friendly staff named darma. He was very helpful to my friend and me. Thank you for the experience.

I want to express my gratitude to the Maha hills staff for making my stay at the resort wonderful. The resort itself is clean, relaxing, and soothing due to a natural environment, with opulent touches. There are spa facilities available (my therapist debi gave me an amazing massage), and the restaurant topvibes serves both local and international dishes with an incredible view. Staff members are very helpful and will help you with anything you need. I would not recommend the hotel for elderly or disabled people only because of the many stairs, but this is already mentioned on their website. Special thanks to david, udai, debian, dayu, Erika, Darma, big boy, etc.

The location with a view of the rice fields is breathtaking. The staff is incredibly kind and pleasant, going above and beyond to ensure that their guests are satisfied. However, the quality of massages is the absolute highlight. We enjoyed the 90minute deep tissue massage by udayani and Desi twice. It was truly exceptional, one of Balis finest massage experiences. There are many beautiful waterfulls in the area. Some of us took day tours with the friendly and helpful hotel drivers. Overall, northern bali is undoubtedly the best place to stay. North balis fantastic location is simply amazing, and we adore it.

Maha hills was a wonderful place for us to stay! The setting of the jungle and rice paddies is lovely and tranquil, and the staff and hospitality are excellent. Its incredibly enjoyable to start the day with morning yoga as the sun rises!.

Room is good, food also good. We have red ants companion on our bed, but we understand the nature vibes . But unfortunately the water heater was broken, so no shower for us, due to cold weather. But the offer another bathroom to us anyway. Thanks for this the staffs are amazingly responsive n helpful, and the place is peaceful. And in-room breakfast was LIT!

I really enjoy this hotel in the mountains of bali. People say that when you come to balis mountains, you go to the beach or ubud, but this is very niche in them. There are places to hike around. The breakfast is huge and delicious, and the restaurant has a beautiful view. Also incredibly unique.
