This place is amazing! We adore this location so much. It was a true experience for me and my young children to stay here. This is the real life! Avoid staying here if you enjoy or prefer upscale hotels. You are the true essence of indonesian life here! Very kind people! Delicious cuisine! Simple, but very clean. Respect the peoples lives and homes! Be nice and dependable as thugs! Nahar, the housekeeper, can show you around or plan an excellent boat trip! I loved every minute! Yesi can prepare like kings! Please take in the beautiful sunset! These individuals deserve friendly tourists who respect their homestay and way of life because they deserve to be nice tourists! Our time here was truly wonderful! We were greeted like family and immediately felt at home. The owner organized our boat trip to Rammang, which was absolutely delightful. Although basic, the facilities are impeccably clean, and the bed is exceptionally comfortable. Yesi cooked delicious food, so we were sad to say goodbye. We had a wonderful time with yesi and her family! Yesi is such sly and caring host, and she welcomes you as if you are heir to her own family. Its the most genuine homestay we have ever visited in indonesia. The facilities are simple, but they are currently building remodeled terraces and sanitary showers, doing everything in their power to make you feel at home. Everything is handled - from breakfast to dinner, arranging boarding raft trips through the breathtaking karst landscape, helping us buy bus tickets to toraja! We assisted yesis kitchen, played soccer with the kids,and cuddled the newborn cat. Thank you for the wonderful experience at your house.4.6/55 May 2024

If you visit Rammang-Rammang, you must stay with yesi and her family. She is the sweetest and most welcoming woman i have ever met in indonesia so far, and she will do everything in her power to make your stay wonderful for you. If necessary, her husband will also assist you in obtaining a boat guide for your stays in Tana toraja as well as arranging if you need taiwan bus. Living with Yesi or her families is genuinely an experience that ive heartily recommend to anyone. I hope to return someday.4.6/521 Dec 2023

I had a great time here. The family was preparing all the food every day because nahars sister was getting married ten days after i arrived. I spent two days baking and had an amazing time with all of the aunties. Nahar, yesi, and their children are incredibly kind and welcoming, they even picked me up when ive arrived at night and dropped me off when im leaving, while waiting for me to board the bus. You can get to experience genuine local life by staying here! The area is breathtakingly lovely and serene. If youre traveling alone like me, the price is quite high, which is usually not the cheapest location when it comes to lodging because the options are limited, ill say, but if your group is with two people, this is highly recommended. I am very happy that i stayed with this lovely family. They really made me feel at home. We even went to visit their family and were invited to a baby shower. Such an amazing experience. We had a wonderful time in Rammang, many thanks to jessy and her family. She made us feel very welcome to join in as if we were part of her own family life. This way we could experience the local way of life and family traditions, memories that will last forever. The accommodation is basic, with separate rooms with double beds. Shared indonesian bathroom. Breakfast is included. Jessie prepares savory, authentic lunch or dinner on request. 250 k boat dock to berawa village is only 750 meters away. Many caves are easily accessible from there. Note: There is an entrance fee of 15 kilos and some cave fees of 5 kelos. Stone forest is nearby. Jessicas house is the ideal place to explore Ramming and experience local life with enthusiastic and friendly people.4.2/516 May 2024
