I stayed there last week while hiking in Kyoto. The location of this Roman is very good, close to Tokyo Station and 78 minutes by city bus. I stayed in a single room with a breakfast package. I had a nice and well-prepared traditional Japanese room because it was a Roman. The room was excellent, though the wash basin was outdated and out of date. The personnel were really kind. Since this was my first visit to Rome and the package was all self-service, the staff assisted me in placing the futon for sleep. Checking in and out were also smooth. The typical Japanese breakfast was very good. It was delicious if you enjoy Japanese food. Overall, I had a wonderful time living in a Roman.

The main train station in Rome is 10 minutes' walk away. The staff was welcoming, offering us traditional tea and snacks. We had traditional dinner and brunch, and it was delicious! The futons were repaired while we were eating. The communal bathroom was quite clean and roomy. I will definitely return there. The wifi would be the only thing that would change. It is only available in the lobby.

We had previously spent vacation in this traditional Roman and we knew enough English to leave our bags earlier in the day. We were given a wonderful surprise by the tea ceremony that was held when we arrived. Although the woman organizing it seemed to have no English at all, we were able to communicate and it was a pleasant touch to our trip. We all slept well thanks to the traditional tatami mats in the beds. The only drawback was that the accommodation was covered in scaffolding so we couldn't enjoy the view of the temple.

We stayed in this nice roman for 1 night and found it to be in line with our expectations. The room was large and clean, the futon comfortable and the view was incredible. The main gate of the nearby temple was there. The Ofuro was great and relaxing. And the breakfast was delicious We were satisfied with the staff as well we can speak a little Japanese, so no problems. We strongly recommend this structure which is only 15 minutes on foot from Koto station, a relaxing location and a good place to stay in Kyoto.

We also stayed one night in izumiya on our first visit to Japan, and so we first stay in a traditional Japanese inn. First and foremost, it's very convenient to central Kyoto station, it takes about 10 minutes to walk. It's also directly across from a temple, a temple that's well worth a short walk. Pricing is very good value, but if you've never done this type of hotel before, it's quite amazing. We really loved the welcome we got from the staff in traditional dress when we arrived in the room, including a mini tea ceremony. The traditional room with futons and kimonos to wear was great, and the traditional design of the room was lovely. The bathroom was a little basic, but it's just a small complaint. We also liked the traditional Japanese breakfast, again served with a little ritual. We recommend a Roman experience for at least the time you stay in Japan or Kyoto whether you stay here or not.
