This ryokan is perfect for you who want a mix of traditional and modern with a bit of privacy. We had our own private patio for our hot spring tub, and it was nice to have that space to ourselves. I am 5 ft 11 and the tub was a bit small for me. My knees would stick out of the water as it was a bit small. Overall, the staff was amazing and the stay was great. I recommend staying here if you want an intimate experience without getting naked with strangers.

Excellent rooms in the traditional japanese style. After a tiring day of travel, you can unwind with a private hot onsen, and the cozy tatami floors help you unwind. The service was excellent, and they took excellent care of us. The service and quality we received were well worth the cost. However, having large bags can be an inconvenience because it is quite far from train stations.

Menginaplah di wisma mewah setidaknya sekali dalam hidupmu! Jadi aku menginap di penginapan ini. Ada berbagai layanan dan minuman selamat datang berupa manisan Jepang yang dibuat dengan matcha dan yuzu. Kamarnya bernama Hojicha dan memiliki pemandian terbuka, ruang tamu, pancuran dan toilet, serta kamar tidur di lantai dua yang dapat diakses melalui tangga melalui pintu tersembunyi. Senangnya kamarnya didesain seperti jaman dulu, tapi tempat tidurnya di atas, jadi susah ke kamar mandi haha. Pemandian terbuka itu saat musim dingin jadi sangat nyaman! Lebih enak lagi dengan daun teh! Saya juga bisa melihat staf menyiapkan sarapan dan itu bagus. Namun saat Anda memanggil taksi, akan ada biaya tambahan 200 yen, jadi mungkin lebih baik jika Anda menelepon sendiri.

We will definitely recommend this hotel to all of our friends and family! Absolutely stunning hotel! A welcome cup of iced matcha and a sweet treat of sakura paste were presented to us. We stayed in the matcha room, which has its own private garden and outdoor bath. The room is very spacious and beautifully decorated. There are many included amenities, and they treat you like royalty here. Nijo castle is only a short walk away, but you wont walk to leave this beautiful room and the view of the private garden.

The location is close to the train station and also close to the imperial palace and nijojo castle. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. Everyone from the start to the end of our stay was very respectful and kind. They even offered to hold our bags while we explored the surrounding area after checkout! We also had dinner and breakfast during our stay and it was amazing. Overall a very relaxing and one of the highlights of our trip.

Because there should be a maximum of four rooms, the service is excellent. It was such a treat and well worth it when i ordered their 88,00 yen omakase dinner! Breakfast is included, and the main dishes were expertly cooked on charcoal, taking you an hour to finish. You can rest assured that the majority of the staff is aware of your requirements because they speak enough english. Nijo castle and a small store selling banana shakes called banana for human by gorilla are not far from the location. You can also visit face house to see its distinctive exterior, which resembles a face. Because this ryokan is located in a private residence area, it is extremely quiet and peaceful.

We had a great time at nazuna in kyoto. The location was excellent, the room was stunning, and the beds were cozy. My brotherinlaw even slept on the futon and said it felt like a cloud. We enjoyed waking up, having coffee, tea, and a hot bath. But the best part was the staff niko, mai, and kanako went out of their way to answer our questions, help us get around, make reservations, and make us feel completely at home. We definitely intend to return someday! 10/10 would recommend.

We stayed here on the last day of our trip to kyoto, and it was the perfect place to relieve the tiredness accumulated over the three days. The staff prepared everything we needed and guided us friendly. The rooms were very clean, cozy, and amazing. Dinner and breakfast were also perfect, thanks to the staffs careful guidance and the combination of fresh and tasty ingredients. Even on the morning of our departure, the staff came out to see us off and gave us the best experience until the end. Next time i come to kyoto again, i will definitely stay here again. And i would definitely recommend this place to people around me.

My husband and i stayed for our honeymoon. We were within a 10 minute walk from a train station. The staff were all very nice and went above and beyond with hospitality. They served a traditional japanese breakfast every morning which was great! And each night we took a dip in our own onsen. We were both sad to leave but took away great memories.

It was our first visit to kyoto and our second visit to japan. It was even better than we had anticipated for a genuine japanese experience! Everything was flawless. The room was stunning, cozy, and spacious. The japanese garden with the outdoor bath was stunning and soothing. The hotel staff, young ladies and men, were very nice, helpful, and professional. Breakfast was very good, and having a japanese breakfast made right in front of you was the perfect experience. The food was all very delicious. And finally, we enjoyed the location, 5 minutes walk to nijojo castle and not far from many places in kyoto. I highly recommend nazuna nijojo.

Would return! I had a great time in kyoto. We stayed for one night and chose breakfast instead of dinner. A complimentary tea ceremony, a box of snacks, a fridge filled with free refreshments, and an item of choice from a list are all included. We chose an ice cream sampler as an extra option. We chose to have a massage as an extra and it was soothing. It was nice that the hot tub was outside and the genmaicha room is upstairs. The service was excellent, and the room is roomy.

Check-in di kamar yang bagus. Anggota staf pergi setelah check-in, tetapi kembali sekitar 10 menit dan meminta saya menjelaskan kamar. Setelah itu, ada pemandian terbuka di luar. Tidak ada pengaturan suhu yang cukup hangat. Ini bukan sumber air panas. Musim panas menyenangkan, tetapi musim dingin cukup dingin.
