This place is a small family run business that is located just a short distance from the nishiki market and within walking distance of many attractions. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms have private bathrooms and there is also a shared bath on the second floor. The traditional breakfast is also great! Dinner is optional and similar to breakfast, so i recommend checking out one of the many nearby restaurants.

Sambutannya sangat rendah hati dan hangat, semua staf ramah dan penuh perhatian, membantu Anda menemukan adat Jepang. Ini adalah contoh sempurna seni keramahtamahan Jepang: minuman ditawarkan saat kedatangan kami, teh dengan biskuit di kamar dan kami ditemani untuk menjelaskan aturan hidup di kamar dan rumah. We had a wonderful five days here. The staff and owners are very friendly and speak good english. The rooms are comfortable and comfortable, in a beautiful traditional japanese style. The location is also very good, right by nishiki market and many restaurants. Its also a relatively short walk to transit stations. The complimentary traditional breakfast is very good and a fun way to start each morning.

This was an amazing place! We had never stayed in a Royal con before, and very glad we chose this location. The owners were extremely friendly, and the room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the traditional breakfast, and access to the public bath (a must try experience). I highly recommend this hotel.!

I call it japanese hospitality service. The staff is friendly, from the owner herself to the staff members. They are very attentive to your every action, know exactly what you want and serve you as best they can. The interior is unexpectedly beautifully furnished, although it looked different from the outside. Its amazing! The location is very close to shopping districts. I love it!.

Kami tinggal di Kagihei selama empat malam dan sangat terkesan. Keramahan sempurna, kamar bagus, sarapan yang sangat enak (sebaiknya di ruang belakang dengan pemandangan taman) dan titik awal yang bagus untuk berwisata. Jika kami kembali ke Kyoto, kami pasti akan kembali!

A charming and strategic ryokan close to nishiki market. The proprietors are kind and meticulous, and they speak english fluently. The rooms are traditional tatamifloor rooms with a variety of amenities including public baths, a washing machine, a dryer, and more. Make sure to sample their breakfast menu at least once. Such a wonderful experience, i will return. Note that the ryokans gates will be closed at 11 p. M. And opened at 6.30 a. M. Remember this.

The hosts were wonderful and the location close to food, shopping , transportation and Kyoto attractions. It was hard to get the room temperature to be comfortable for me, that’s probably the only issue I had.

It was my first time in Japan, so Kyo-no-Yado Kagihei was my very first ryokan experience. I stayed for a few days and loved every moment of it. The Japanese style room was very comfortable and cozy. I appreciated the daily restock of tea, cookies, and bottled drinks. The property is located in a very convenient location as I was able to go sightseeing, shop, and even just wander around Kyoto to appreciate the slow vibe. Tomo and Yuko, the owners of the ryokan, were so sweet and kind to me. I felt so welcomed and at home. The entire staff is just as gentle and considerate. Highly recommend this property. I already miss everyone (and the Japanese breakfast!).

Meskipun harganya cukup mahal untuk memesan ryokan yang layak, saya merekomendasikannya jika Anda ingin merasakan gaya Jepang. Meskipun bukan pemandian air panas, ada juga pemandian umum kecil (cukup besar untuk tiga orang). Pemilik berbicara bahasa Inggris dengan baik, jadi komunikasi tidak ada masalah. Pastikan sarapan.
