It was a very enjoyable stay at this culturally authentic accomodation. The city is incredibly charming and peaceful and this villa fits perfectly with that atmosphere. Great location, within 5 minute walk from train station and main shopping and dining streets.

L'accueil était excellent. L'hébergement change agréablement des hotels impersonnels, sans charme

This is a typical Japanese low-cost hotel with a big bedroom style futon Japanese mattresses, pillows and room climate control. This is a typical Japan low-cost hotel. Two bathrooms. For non-experimental travelers.

This is not suitable for me. While sara is wellknown for her arts and crafts, is she also sharing with her coworkers a bathroom with a washer and dryer? Even though the size of the refrigerator dorm room is mentioned on the website, it also differs from the one we took. It might be beneficial for you, but it may not be suitable for me. I acknowledge that the location is conveniently placed and quaint, but you should not overlook the comfort of a tiny room. It appears pleasant, however, that entering is the problem. Or simply squeezing in. Hey, at least it's a fascinatingly decorated shelter at a reasonable price, but that's all there is. You might enjoy the bizarre and sacral nature of the photographs I've included, but not for me. Also, I should emphasize that I'm a longtime Japanese resident. For the beginning, the charm factor may outweigh the small nature of the location.

The location is a five-minute stroll from the train station and retail district. Finding it can be a bit challenging. The English-speaking staff is welcoming and helpful. I selected the large room upstairs, which sleeps four. It has an extremely steep stairs to get there! Breakfast is not included, but the proprietor also runs a charming restaurant around five minutes away. For 5 yen, it's a great deal, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had in my ten-day stay in Japan. The location is a plus for this place. Based on your expectations, the amenities might be a little disappointing. Both the futon and the comforter are fairly comfy. You can sometimes hear a loudspeaker when it's right next to railway tracks. Not that much of a deal, but light sleepers may have trouble.

This might be the spot for you if you want something a little different from the typical city center fare thats only a few minutes from the train station. Our rating is based on the fact that it was the only one of this type of accommodation we used on the trip and that was a unique experience for one night it was enjoyable. The rooms are clean but, as other reviews say, the space is very small. We enjoyed the semicommunal nature of the shared facilities but again that might not be for everyone. If you want something a little different then we would say it's a good stop if you want space and facilities then look elsewhere.

The location is the one which is close to the train station and the main tourist street that leads to the temple. You could hear everyone in the room if you spoke above a shrill. Conversations were made in the coffee lounge and the closet-sized room was always heard clearly. There is nowhere to put your clothes or towels in the shower room that is shared with a trackable washer and dryer. You scrubbed your teeth in full view of the phone booth-sized reception area. Everything was so small and crowded that you could only sleep before leaving.

I once stayed in a traditional Japanese hotel. but this feels more like a hostel. The rooms are very small and so is the shared spaces. This place is good for solo travel or a quick night stay. The things I enjoyed the most was the comfortable mattresses and the ability to drop my luggage off in the morning.
