静かな佇まいでゆっくり食事を楽しむ事が出来る宿だ。夕食はシェフやウエートレスと金沢の話を聞きながら味わう事が出来た。部屋は離れであったが、色々ある様だ。お風呂は温泉ではないが、ゆったりして何度も入った。大変のんびりできた。

beautiful ryokan in the hills overlooking kanazawa. only stayed the night and wished i could have stayed a month. room was perfection, with splendid views, a vast bath, and a long wall covered with a panelled brush-painting of bamboo. for many the stunning dining room will be the central attraction as the chef creates multi-course dinners with lapidary presentation, including glass jars of smoked beef and tongue and shrimp hidden under a pile of autumn leaves and a huge persimmon infused with with distilled liquid for dessert. the staff were welcoming and thoughtful. a one-in-a-million traditional inn.

個人の別荘を買い取り改装した旅館です。金沢駅からタクシーで２０分ほど。温泉はわきませんが清潔な浴室。洗髪剤などはAesopで統一されています。懐石料理は季節ごとに異なります。味のみならず器も洗練されていて非常に質が高いと感じました。

場所的には、繁華街や観光地から少し距離があり、通常の住宅地の外れで、便利とは言い難いが、静かで、ゆっくりとするには悪くない。料理は充実。日本に興味を持ち、或る程度の予備知識を持つ外国人には喜ばれるだろう。土壁の和式スタイルで、中学生以下は歓迎されない模様。食事も、子供向きではない。

Delightful Ryokan, with wonderful views and quiet peaceful hillside location still easy 15-20 minutes walking through interesting neighborhood streets to the major sights of Kenrokuen garden and Kanazawa castle park. A lovely retreat from the touristy bustling city on the other side of the park. Our Kaiseki dinner was a wonderful surprise, it was better than at the Relais & Chateau ryokan we stayed near Matsumoto, as well as 2 Michelin star in Tokyo. Breakfast was a treat too! Highly recommend this hotel.

Incredible accommodations in an incredible city. This ryokan was by far the nicest place we stayed in Japan. It is clean, new, and has fabulous and elegant decor. The breakfasts are beautifully presented and delicious, and the view of the city was lovely as well. But the best aspect was the service. The staff went above and beyond to help us find experiences tailored to our interests. We so appreciated their willingness to make our stay special. It is a few minutes out of the city, but you will soon discover that the city itself is not large and is easily walkable. I would recommend you take a taxi to and from the ryokan when you arrive/leave with your bags but otherwise just walk and catch the Kanazawa Loop Bus wherever you need to go.

A short taxi ride takes you from the bustle of Kanazawa to Ryokusone, located up a hill above the city, next to a temple. The property is meticulously re-constructed in traditional style with all conveniences. The chef is a creative master of exquisite modern Kaiseki. The three days we spent at Ryokusone in Kanazawa were overall the best experience of our 3-week trip to Japan, and one of the most memorable in our five trips to Japan.

The rooms are small with separate double beds. They have a very low entrance in the bathroom which means I really knocked on my head and the room lacks blinds shutters. Breakfast is Japanese and we must leave the room by 10. All in all a very disappointing price for a minimum comfort.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and they always came to offer the best service possible. Everything about the Roman was amazing. The size and comfort of the bed were also a plus! Also, the toiletries that they had in the room were very tasty. It's about a half-hour walk to the center of town, but if you're looking for a place to unwind, this place is ideal.

This was our first time visiting Rome. The rooms were large and beautiful. A kimono room, a show-off. Nice staff. Tea and a sweet were provided when I arrived. The place had a simple elegance, which we liked, but it doesn't come cheap. 3 of 4 of us thought it was expensive, but that's the nature of Romans. I didn't realize there was no start when I booked. The kiseki dinner was multi-course, but none of the dishes left me shaking my socks off. Same goes for breakfast.

The ryokusone of Yuzu Roman Kanazawa is as distinctive as they come in terms of Roman style. Although there is no effort to appear and feel contemporary, there is a particular charm to this traditional. The area is either yours alone or you are touring the city. It's almost a traditional home with fantastic cuisine. Look no further if that's what you're looking for. It was probably pretty lovely, but it wasn't great. It was a story-style room with a small room and didn't scream large luxury. The highlight was the food. Sadly, they do not provide meals in the rooms, but the food they did have was excellent. However, given the cost, one would anticipate a great Japanese meal, and it didn't disappoint. A few additional nits to choose. The bath is not a real starter, and laundry services are not provided. Ryokusone is not a Roman getaway. I wouldn't suggest anyone go out of their way just to stay here because it is not a destination. However, ryokusone is a good choice if youre already in the area and want a decent place to stay with great food and not much more, but you have the financial means to manage it.

We decide that we have to remain at ryokusone once more for three seasons. 1 we intended to visit Kanazawa once more, 2 we have fond memories of ryokusone's amazing dining experience and 3 despite Kanazawa being a world class tourist destination, the area lacks luxury options. Ryokusone is not in the heart of kanazawa but on a tiny hill with a city view and about a 10-minute drive from the main sagashi chaka district and Kenrokuen garden. If youre looking for a perfect roman stay needs easy walking to the main tourist attractions, ryokusone is definitely not for you. Just like last time, we had a rental vehicle, so we didn't be too uncomfortable. The property was identical as last time. Yamaboushi, a twostory maisonette style room with a bedroom on the upper level. It has some beautiful decorations, particularly the huge wall mural in the bedroom. It has a very traditional look and feel, which is not worn out. But there is only one sink in the bathroom, so you can really expect a lovely little garden and natural hot springs bath. Japanese breakfast was exiqusite but maybe not for everyone. Location is a bit far from town center but ok if you like walking. Rooms are nice but pricey for what it includes. Check in process could be better. Overall a unique hotel.
