Very Disappointing Stay – Poor Maintenance and Unresponsive Management I stayed at this property for two nights with a group of six people in Room #172. From the moment we checked in, we were disappointed. The property looked nothing like the photos shown on the website. It appeared old and poorly maintained. The bedsheets were not clean, and the furniture, sofa, bathroom, and overall interior were outdated. The worst part of our stay happened on the last night. At around 9:00 PM, after we entered the room and closed the door, the electricity suddenly tripped with a burning smell, causing a complete blackout. The lights and air conditioning stopped working immediately. I contacted the landlord via WhatsApp right away and requested that a technician be sent as soon as possible because we needed to pack for our departure the next day. However, the response was extremely slow. We waited for nearly an hour before a housekeeper arrived. The housekeeper even told us that this issue had happened many times before. If that’s the case, why is this unit still being rented out without being properly repaired? The operator then asked us to wait until 2:00 AM for a technician to arrive. By then, we were exhausted and had already gone to bed. Even more disappointing, instead of apologizing or showing any concern, the landlord sent us a reminder about our check-out time the next day. There was absolutely no empathy or sense of responsibility. By the time we checked out at 12:00 PM, the electricity had still not been restored. We had no lights or air conditioning for the rest of our stay. I believe the property should provide a refund for one night’s stay as compensation for this unacceptable experience.
