Despite occasional noise in the kitchen and laundry due to construction going on at the adjacent hotel, the Village Residence was otherwise lovely and quiet. The staff were wonderful from the moment we arrived and were very apologetic when the lift unfortunately broke down during our stay. These things happen, but they went the extra mile by leaving a lovely fruit bowl and gift for my children as a token of their apologies. I stayed in a slightly different location on my last visit to Singapore, but the Village Residence was by far in a better spot. I had a beautiful view of the river from my balcony, and would definitely return should I visit Singapore again.

Loved this service apartment. We had a studio which was shockingly large even by U.S. standards for 8 comfortable days. Location was great right in the middle of Robertson Quay and River Valley as well as Clarke Quay and Fort Canning park. Dining choices were great, with numerous restaurants just downstairs in the square as well as the river walk along Robertson Quay. Also it's not too close to Clarke Quay which I find to be a blessing given how touristy and noisy it is. 5 min walk to the MRT station as well as walkable distance to Orchard road and Raffles city. I would definitely stay here again when we're here for an extended time.

The service was excellent. Every time a staff email was answered promptly and greeted with a smile, nothing was too much bother. We had a problem with our ac in our 3 bedroom and were immediately relocated to another room, given presents, and transferred to our departing flight. A special thank you to Ricole and his team for their fantastic, caring, and outstanding customer service.

I stayed here for a week summer 2022 while on a work trip in singapore with my family. The staff is very helpful and friendly, check in was smooth and we were shown and walked through the apartment. The location is great, there are many restaurants within the same complex, a supermarket within 2 minutes walk (cold storage in ue square), an mrt station 5 minutes away (fort canning) and right along the Singapore river where you can walk to Clark, boat quays and even mbs. The only downside is the size of the apartment and the age of the apartment. Otherwise a very nice stay.

I stayed there for 2 months from early may to July this year. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the mrt. The staff is very helpful especially the reception, reservations and technician. They deserved 5 stars but i only gave 4 stars overall because the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard. My husband reported once to the front desk but there was no improvement after that. We didnt take photos because it was not pleasant with black mold around the bathroom sink, bathtub and shower basin. The washing machine door plastic gasket was also moldy and i cleaned it myself. I think the housekeeper of my apartment will thank me for doing a major cleaning.
