We are staying at atlantis for the second time. Very good value when you dont care about the view, we had a view of a messy rooftop or a messy large mobile antenna twice. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, but the almost always running bar fridge is noisy and annoying.

The location is very central. We booked a 2 bedroom which was quite adequate for a 2 night stay. The view is okay, good to have windows but just looking out onto other buildings. The price is good. We enjoyed access to the pool with the kids.

The location is good for public transport, food, and shopping. The room is well appointed, although odd that the bedside tables are in front of the powerpoints. The receptionists this morning were very friendly and professional, the female last night was very blunt and unwelcoming.

When we arrived at the atlantis hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff, and the reception had plenty of staff to deal with the demand for the 2 oclock rush hour. We quickly got our keys and proceeded to the elevator to our room. We were quite surprised by the size of the room. The room was fine, despite not being ultra modern for the price you pay. My only complaint was that when we went to use the pool, which is a nice large heated pool, they must have recently had ceiling leaks because the ceiling in the entire pool area was falling all over the ground.

I reserved the most basic room. Overall, the room is standard, reasonably priced, and just right for your needs, with a comfortable bed and sofa. The drawback, in my opinion, is that there arent enough plugs if you are traveling in two and have a lot of devices to charge, including phones, power banks, iPads, and cameras. You still want to use your phone on your bed while charging and keep most devices close to your bed. Additionally, if you dont like using a soap bar, bring your own body wash. Cleanliness could be improved, as i discovered a piece of tissue beneath the bed. The main train station, southern cross train/tram station, is only a 10minute walk away, and it should be able to connect you to most destinations. Additionally, overnight parking is available for $25 per night.
