This hostel is fantastic, and the staff is always willing to help. Every day, the kitchen, bathrooms, and dorms are cleaned, and the common area has a tv with fantastic movies. Everyone is engaged in the evening events, and i met a ton of wonderful people. A fantastic place to visit, whether youre traveling alone or with friends.

Asrama yang bagus. Kamar mandi komunal sangat bersih dan kamar-kamarnya ditata dengan baik. Sarapannya tidak termasuk dalam harga, jadi Anda harus mengurusnya sendiri. Ada kulkas di kamar yang menurut kami bagus Mesin cuci yang dioperasikan dengan koin ada di hampir setiap lantai. Ada malam menonton film, tidak ada klub dan pizza dipesan seminggu sekali. Asrama ini juga terletak di lokasi yang bagus, jadi kami akan tinggal di sana lagi suatu hari nanti.

I stayed here for 2 nights and got a room to myself. The staff is friendly, and my room was clean. It wasnt noisy at night i was expecting to wear earplugs, and honestly the bunk beds are very comfortable. I swear they have higher thread count sheets than i do at home.

We just so happened to check in at latenight around 1 am and it turned out that there was someone at the reception at the time to help us. Great job! The room was so neat and comfortable for a backpacking accommodation. Had a relaxing hot shower in the common bathroom in the morning. It was so refreshing to start the long day ahead. When we checked out, the person at the help desk willingly gave us a map and directions to nearby attractions as we were new to the city. Loved this place. Will definitely come back when i get the chance.

We can highly recommend this place! Its in the middle of backpackers street, so there are many happy travelers creating an extraordinary atmosphere! Great location. We started our trip from that hostel and were really happy because of it! Nice staff, very helpful!.

The room was fine, the kitchen was not too bad, and the common area was neat, clean, and bright! In comparison to other hostels at the same price, i highly recommend this one. And the security was much more strict so you felt more safe. The shower was fine, but the water pressure was not very strong.

The staff is amazing, they will do almost anything for you and were very helpful. The location is great, close to everything you need and places you want to see, and very close to the train station, you can go anywhere you want. The people you meet are friendly and you usually end up with a couple of new friends at the end of your trip. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking to travel to sydney.

Best hostel in kings cross period, the reception is very helpful and responsible. Free breakfast is basic but suitable unless you are a fan of cooking or a vegetarian. Dont forget to grab their weekly offer. Compare laundry and facilities to other hostels. I stayed in over 7 places. The swag man costs $6 for washing and drying, but washing takes 30 minutes, others have 15-20! For double the price! Many subtle differences.

In general, this is a good hostel. We mostly stayed in private rooms, which were a good price compared to many other places we checked out. The staff was incredibly friendly, always nice to chat to, the kitchen was always clean, and the hostel rules kept it running perfectly. Showers were good when we did stay in a dorm for a few nights in march, and it was unbearably hot. Even in the dead of summer, there was no way we could have stayed there, and it was still too hot. When one became available, we moved to a twin room, and it was still too hot. Finally, we were given a double room near the front of the building, which was much cooler and was now fine. Air conditioning would go a long way in the rooms. The people staying there were easy to get along with, and they could go out for drinks a few days a week, which is always good.

Jolly swagman is an amazing place to stay because of its colorful atmosphere and friendly staff like nabel and sam who notify backpackers of any work available as they have a facebook page with work available from local businesses so you can have work available if you want it. The rooms are spacious with some having fridges, tvs and sinks to wash hands which is a definite plus for those who prefer to stay indoors. I stayed in a couple of yha hostels and unlike them jolly swags doesnt tolerate troublemakers and kicks people out the next day which is good as it feels more safe here.

We stayed for 4 nights, I would say it's average on what the hostel offers, but the location is great and there are some lovely cafes right around the corner! No problems with noise and we had a comfortable bed, the room itself could use some updating and maybe some newer blankets. I would stay again.

The hostel is amazing. I came here alone and made so many good friends that i will have for a long time. Everyone who stays here is so friendly. Its also in the heart of kings cross. The staff are great at helping people find jobs and the transportation from kings cross is very good to travel around the city. The entertainment is great in the hostel we go out every night and get free tickets to clubs and free drinks which is great for backpackers on a tight budget.

I would definitely recommend staying here during your time in australia. I have been in australia for a while and have stayed in many different hostels, but the jolly is unquestionably one of the best! The location is excellent, with everything you need right outside your door, the train station is only 2 minutes away, there are 2 supermarkets, and a variety of places to go drinking! The atmosphere here is fantastic, if you want to go out there is a planned night out every night of the week with free entry and a free drink, but as there are also many longterm workers, there is always the option of a quiet one on the beanbags in the tv room. There are also regular organized day trips to the beach or whatever, which is a great way to meet people if you are traveling alone. There are also cheap or free dinners every night, which is great if you are on a tight budget or simply cant be bothered to cook.
