As others have mentioned, a renovation is due because the building shows its age a bit, but my stay was great overall. The room was clean and toasty warm, the staff are incredible, the hotel is removed from the main strip (so it's super quiet) but an easy walk to everything, and the view from the river side rooms are beautiful. The price is also reasonable compared to other hotels in town. Would highly recommend for anyone going to Banff.

Enjoyed the quiet location and clean room. Staff was helpful and accommodating. The motel is dated but very well maintained. There is construction going on across the street, but it didn't bother us. We did have to walk a bit for the ski shuttle, but it was ok. We would stay again.

An older hotel, but it compares well to all the shiny, new ones in Banff too. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, underground parking included, and nestled right next to the water and mountains.

We love this old hotel. We always get a river view and it is so worth it. Beautiful calm scene out your window and you can walk to everything! Shopping is onl a Block away and your car is parked safely underground! Great place to stay!

Room was clean and staff were very friendly. You had to go to the hotel on the other side of the parking lot to use the pool and restaurant facilities which was slightly inconvenient. Great location though you could walk to anywhere in downtown.

There is easy access to ski areas via free buses to all of the big three areas. Also, this place is located right in the town so you can walk to virtually everything. The only thing you can't walk to is the hot springs in the gondola which I believe have a public bus to as well, however the hot springs has been closed for months.
